Thanks for the review. I hope green theme stays for a while 🙏🏾 I prefer Zino over BdJ because I find it too spicy in the opening for me. But enjoyable dry down though.
Thank you🙏🏻 Yes! love green scents. I see what you mean. It's like a herbal mix in the opening. Can be a bit too much. I need to revisit the latest Zino
@@ScentZatura I had a large decant of the PB version that is on its last legs. Probably 2-3ml left max. I went through a decant of the 2020 version too. They are very similar. The PB is heavier on the lavender and a bit darker in the base. The 2020 is brighter, more vibrant (citrus) in the top and more aromatic overall. Don't remember detecting much amberwoods in the 2020 compared to the PB but that was a while ago.
I’m going to have to check this out again. I’ve never given it a full wear, but I used to wear Zino a lot. But when I smelled BdJ in the store it didn’t remind me of Zino at all even though I always hear them compared. You said “references” which might make more sense. As far as TF goes, I like Ebène Fumé a lot. I thought it had some of the old Private Blend magic. But after that, it’s definitely been miss after miss.
Yes, you are right, I think the similarities are overstated to some extent. I find this better in terms of quality and less old school as per my taste. Yes, Ebène, Myrrhe were nice.. The roses and the fruit stuff didn't really work for me. Hope they find a new direction. cheers Dave!
Hmmmm, benzoin = powdery creaminess. I’ve been noticing recently that I’m quite fond of benzoin but haven’t put my nose on why. Pun intended. Weak pun, I know. Thank you- I’ll have to check it out with the next benzoin heavy fragrance that I spritz.
Hahaha... I have been enjoying Benzoin last couple of years too. It's so comforting. Benjoin Bohème and Bois d'armenie have been my favorite in the family. Thanks Kelly!
Greetings Monsieur Bob! Thanks! Delphine should do a fougère based on her ideal man :) Ohh.. Catherine used to wear Noir Epices for a character apparently which surprised Michel Roudnitska as he made it for brunettes and didn't think it would work on blondes.
@@ScentZatura What's the latest on Comete to start the week? I see nothing on eBay but, overpriced card samples...by this time with Le Lion, I had already purchased off a seller from NY who brought it back from the Middle East.
It seems that they'll put it out only in May. So people have to ask for it to buy now it seems. Also heard it is already available in the US San Fran SAKS/Blooming D etc... BTW I may or may not have a bottle on the way😉

Love this one of my most worn during the spring / summer
Yes, it really works during spring/summer. Clean and classic

BdJ, a creamy, very aromatic fougere. Great review;)
I ❤ Catherine Deneuve.

Tom ford grey vetiver is a masterpiece
Yes, that has also remained strong since release
I have this, but dont care for the dry down.
Thanks for sharing. yes, I think it can go either way.
The prive is infinitely better and has Patchouli instead of amberwoods
Need a time machine so I can buy up all the vintage TF Private Blend for a good price. Was still a bébé during the drop.
@@ScentZatura I'd send some if I could
