You just KNOW Ramsey voted for Trump both times with both hands. He clearly leans hard right in his politics, even though he never explicitly calls out either party for their stupidity on the show. He just blames them all, but there's no way he has ever voted for a Democrat in his life. The crazy thing is Dave voting for Trump, a man who was literally handed millions and ran seven companies into the ground. Dave preaches and rails against debt, yet Trump is the debt king, the living embodiment of 'too big to fail' and in the end the only thing he is really good at is suckering people into forking over their cash in return for his "brand". This has been his business model for decades with the banks, now he's applying the same principles to the Republican party and especially stupid MAGA cult followers.

I worked at a locally owned grocery story in Austin, Texas when I was in high school. A few blocks away was a Safeway store. During my time working in this locally owned store, the Nixon administration implemented price controls on beef. The pricing resulted in the cost of the product being higher that the price that stores could charge. The owner of our store was also a rancher. He had his cattle taken to the processing center and paid for the processing. Our store had a counter full of beef. The demand was so high, I was sent to the market to help. The manager of the Safeway came to our store and purchased a shopping cart full of meat for his family. I was surprised to see him in our store. When I got off work, I drove to the Safeway. The store had a far bigger meat counter the our store had but it was mostly empty. There was a small section of tongue, other wise no meat. No beef, chicken or pork. Nixon soon reversed the policy but I saw first hand that government price controls result in shortages and do not help. We need less government involvement, not more.

It's not supply and demand when it comes to homes.
My country went from 10-11 million population down to 6.5 million from 1991 to 2024. During that same period we have built 3-4x more homes in big cities than there were 30-35 years ago. Yet in the 90s the median home(which was 71-74m^2) costed 2-3x median yearly salaries, now the median home(which is 48-52m^2) costs 9-12x median yearly salaries.
Why? Because big companies and rich people buy out all the homes, or straight up build them, then price them using algorithms to get the price as high as possible and this is price fixing, but since the governments are incompetent it is not considered price fixing.
36-40%+ of homes are empty in big cities where 80%+ of people live btw, it's not a supply issue.
