I am about to open an inhome childcare, but I only want four children, and I cannot decide if getting licensed for a small amount of children would be worth it or not.
Hi! I am licensed for eight children. I usually only have around 3-4 children a day because I prefer a smaller group. Getting licensed honestly depends on your state and the ratio regulations they have in place. From personal experience I do not think being licensed has helped me get clients. If I was in a state where I could watch 4 kids and be unlicensed, I would do that.

I actually got the small slide and swings from a garage sale for $50!!!! It made my whole day. The brand is Step2. You might be able to find it on the website, but it's crazy how expensive they are. Wishing you all the luck that you find one at a garage sale also ❤
