I lived in Guernsey from 1968 to 1970. I worked in the tomatoes industry, first in Laumon and in The Salt Pans for The Fruit Export Co. The managers name was Eric Le Lievre., an absolute gentleman. The men on the vineyards were Jack Blackwood (foreman) Ron Rose, George Board, Bill Hammon, Eutrid Peppe. I would be surprised if any of those men are alive today. In 1968 I was 20 and Jack was 58. Salutations to them all.Presently I live in the southwest of Ireland in a place called Kenmare, Co Kerry. I have a small picture framing business. John Leonard.
