Right now, the best skill would be the gravity field which is ghost element. MS are common but it can be countered by wearing pasana card. Storm gust deals a little damage but can be helpful in PVP scenario. LoV is great as well.
I think still okay but since the damage is still physical and the monster stats are boosted in global, you may want to adjust your equipment and skills which may include ignoring phy and Mag to deal more damage. In addition, the imprint skills exclusive for high wiz focuses the magic crasher build increasing the damage.

I believe GF still a meta and will remain the best skill for HW, maybe up until the Prof show up and MC can use the element converters

2 Hand equipments gives more damage, however, 1 hand equipments gives more survivability

I always go for 2-hand equipments early to mid game. Then switch to 1 Hand with shield for dungeon runs

Professor still dominates the battlefield in PVP. Though HW still holds the AOE title
