    I like that Greenlight made the roof trim around the windows, it could be cleaner but a very nice job. I like them all but I’m a Christine fan so ima gonna get em all. But yes Auto World is so far the nicest version I have too.

    I like the Ertl with the opening hood and trunk and clear glass. These other manufacturers are missing out in not doing that with their cars! IMHO of course.

    Greenlight came really close but the hub caps are not to scale. The Auto World nailed the scale perfectly. The Greenlight ones make it look like she has 18's on her. All but the J.L. look like pretty nice castings but the best of the bunch hands down in my opinion is the Auto World. They're attention to scale to me makes an accurate Christine.

    I did see the Greenlight Christine at Walmart last week but I left it because I'm on a tight budget right now and, if I was going to pick up one recent Greenlight Hollywood car, it'd be the Bullitt Mustang.
    I only have the Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment of Christine currently but I really like that chrome red one from Auto World even if the chrome paint isn't movie accurate. Alas, I've never see Auto World at any stores in Ottawa, Canada.

    I like the Greenlight Christine, although the stance a bit strange (the front seems raised up for some reason). The Auto World version is arguably the best imo, as is the ERTL version with its little details. Thanks for the presentation and comparison.

    Body by Plymouth soul by Roland Lebay she is sensitive, passionate and possessive a red 1958 Plymouth fury possessed by Roland Lebay in September 1957 and hand it down to Arnie Cunningham in 1978 and 79 once she lures everyone behind the wheel body and soul nothing could stop her from standing in her way and being destroyed of a car herself staying alive she's Christine.

    ERTL is the best. The color on the Autoworld is too dark and the bumpers are not really "chromish". Greenlight looks like a bugs bunny car with huge taililights but the bumpers look accurate with chrome. Autoworld has the best wheels. Overall I like the Ertl because it has an opening rear and front hood with engine detail. But the Autoworld and ERTL are a must have in the "Collection".

    Dollar for dollar (lets say you have $20 cash), let's say both are at a flea (weekend market) market for secondary prices. Which do you think gives you the best bang for the buck?

    • @Championdjk
      @Championdjk 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Here you could find both for retail fairly easily. Auto World produced more of that Christine casting than any other release. It was double the production of any other Licensed premium release two car and it also was sold in straight packs.

    • @kylesoler4139
      @kylesoler4139 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Championdjk Yeah, forgot about that. really it's a must that a brand produces popular movie cars regularly, as it could be a recipe for eye-watering prices if they don't (unless there is a Licencing constraint). Movie cars are a great gateway drug when it comes to diecast, as they cross over to multiple hobbies.

    the old ertl 1/64s were really nice and set the bar, auto world currently makes the most correct looking 1958 plymouth fury & belvederes in street trim, there only draw back is not having chrome plated bumpers, the hotwheels is 3rd best on the list, its a toss up for last place, johnny lightning is to small, out of proprtion huge wheels an tires as usual, greenlight the plus is seperate chrome bumpers, the roof looks like its been chopped, the A-Pillar is way to thick in front of the vent glass, chrome trim is way to large,wheels an tires are to huge, hubcaps are incorrect and just looks cheap, greenlight rarely gets wheels an tires correct on any casting much like JL there tire sizes an wheel choices are all over the place and makes them look cheap and toyish, thats my ohnest opinion.

  • @SchaferTheRicer
    @SchaferTheRicer 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Autoworld is way better with the pointed trim on the top of the fenders. The wheels on Autoworld don't make it look like cheap hubcaps from the 80s either. The separate bumper pieces on the greenlight make the car, whereas the auto world makes it look blander with painted silver trim instead of chrome.

    JL & GL are similar in the fact that both usually have bad body proportions, both have huge tires that set to far in the fenders on most of there cars, JL runs small in 1/64 while greenlight runs a bit larger like M2, ITS HARD TO FIND a greenlight or johnny lightning that has correct looking body proportions, the GL 1971-73 JAVELINS HAVE SOME OF THE BEST looking body lines but are plauged with crazy wheel and tire choices on half of there releases. JL there 1964 T-Bolt is one of there few accurate looking toolings. AUTO WORLD blows both out of the water when it comes to body proportions,stance,tire size , the AW christine has the correct 2 four barrell hemi under the hood to boot. compare all three companys 70's challengers 67 mustangs and you will see how cartoonish the body line proportions look on the JL & GL Compared to the auto world castings. blow them up in macro mode and look how goofy most of the GL & JL cars really look, this is the main reason i collected 1/18 for nearly 30 years 1/64 sucked until companys like ertl,auto art,kyosho,TLV ,auto world,ignition,tarmac made the scale some what collectible. im not writing this to piss off HW,MB,GL,JL,RC,& M2 collectors just stating the fact that this is why i never gave much consideration to collecting 1/64 until now.

    the greenlight's roofline looks squashed. especially noticable around the a-pillar which is also too thick. the wheels are chrome on the real christine, but autoworld has the best wheel shape.
