We never do "keep our heads in the game" especially during a Drunk by daylight stream.
Honestly was excited to see if a hacker has actually shown themselves or if my drunk brain really wasn't fit to play anymore. This made it apparent that my drunk brain wasn't fit to play anymore, it also forgot that tombstone Myers isn't the ONLY variation. There are the rare scratched mirror ones still. I'm human, admitted my mistakes, and even laughed it off as we got totally annihilated because we don't know how to successfully run against scratched mirror Myers. It's a game and we make it fun for ourselves, learn from our mistakes and move on.

ESPECIALLY when the streamer is doing a Drunk by daylight stream with their friend and people assume that just because they call hacks means they're absolutely certain. We even admit we need to check the build because our drunk brains didn't realize it was scratched mirror until Jake came into my chat to say so, then it clicked and the loss made even more sense.

Was drunk, streaming DBD, and I was in it for the fun, never really in it for the win. First Myers in a while and a scratched mirror caught me even more off guard. So hopefully my drunk brain will now register this next time a Myers knows where the heck I am in the map.
How do you stream Dead by Daylight and not know about Scratched Mirror Myers? How do you run Distortion without even knowing what the Killer's Terror Radius is?

Drunk by daylight stream, it wasn't gonna click for me since tombstone is mostly what I've run into. Myers also has been rare in my games, I wouldn't have put anything together if Jake hadn't said something in my chat.
Note to self: Don't get so drunk while streaming that basic killer mechanics become "100% definitely hacking" and I end up making an absolute ass of myself and have to make a ton of excuses on someone else's video.

It was Drunk by daylight, and I admit to my mistakes. I'm a survivor main and don't remember all the fine print of each perk. There are hundreds of variations of the perks depending on grades and so on. I understand that, so after Jake reminds me of scratched mirror, I felt ridiculous and couldn't help just laughing at myself for forgetting one of the most used Myers builds out there. Hope you enjoyed the video.

I've only played this game since right before the stranger things map got removed, we've never played against scratched mirror with distortion perk before, and it was my Drunk by daylight stream so my intoxicated brain didn't click to scratched mirror until it was brought up?
@@avianarialilium4730 I’ve only played for 5 months and my first thought sober or drunk isn’t that they are cheating? Nothing he did was sus for a scratch mirror Myers. And it’s pretty popular actually. You don’t have to face it constantly to have the basic knowledge on it.
@@Ichigo-ye1nq and I admit my mistake because I didn't think of it. I've run into hackers, saying hacker isn't intended with malicious intent in my community. We use it as a red flag to make sure we double check perks and we never mean anything we say with malicious intent. That's how we laughed it off in the end and said we were too drunk to function properly.

Indoor maps give a better element of surprise and catches people off guard. You don't want an outdoor map that's too big and open. Survivors will see you every time.
