Well today is awfully cold I have my heating on at 25 degrees Celsius worn my winter coat to the school coach today. There are a few people with covid in my circles so hope that is why I am cold, and feel sick, tired and just Ill 😷 please think about me in your prayers. SO THIS IS NOT WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SUMMER.
Weston is a sponge he is so willing to just get in there and learn. The two of you are so patient with all your children. Thank you so much for sharing all your adventures with us
I'm so proud of Weston, hanging out with, and learning about the bees from Mom & Dad! He's such a sweetie!!! Looking forward to watching your next adventure...be safe & have fun!!! 🌻🦋☀️
I was surprised you guys did not own an RV with all the camping you do. I know a lot of people in Oregan have RV’s. They are expensive😬. My husband and I would love to do an Alaskan cruise. It cost so much for us. But it’s on my bucket list😊
Good Afternoon Hamm Family ❤️ First, I pray you are feeling better. You're in my prayers 🙏 Is it just me, or has life become one big out of control rollercoaster of late? Please stop the ride and let me off. I need a vacation ✈️ What a beautiful, sunny day y'all are enjoying. Same here... for the moment... the weather is both menopausal and bipolar 🌦️ The flowers are looking pretty. Everett did a great job... he's got a green thumb 🌺 Hi Grandma and Grandpa 🙋♀️ I miss fishing with my Dad. Cherish every moment. I pray y'all have many fishing trips left to come 🎣 Our gardening plans are being prepped. Mark's been really busy, so it may be next spring... maybe fall... lots to learn and do beforehand: building and hydro-systems are involved. I can't wait 👩🌾 FYI: our 26th Anniversary is tomorrow, the 19th, and Mark turns 59 years young on Saturday, the 22nd. Happy days 😍 Mosquitoes, aka, devil daggers, are one of the most hated creatures... they love me too much so I avoid at all cost. Mark's been doing lots of yardwork, so there have been lots of mosquito bites, chiggers and two tick bites. Ugh 🦟 I really enjoy watching and learning about the bees and hive work. Seeing Weston so involved is nice. He's turning into a great apiarist, aka, bee farmer. He's like, "I've got this Mom and Dad." Thank you Mark for the education of the queen, queen cells, drones, brooding, bees in general, honey making, mating, etc. 🐝 Great wheelie Hunter. I haven't done that in decades 🚴♂️ Interesting info regarding the boots Grandpa gave Weston. The importance of not contaminating the rivers and other fresh waterways. One question: why is there felt on the boots to begin with? 🤔 Cool tandem bicycle. I'm so happy to see Everett enjoying the ride, as he gets more familiarized with the art of bike riding, plus hanging out with Mom or Dad. Great job Dad and Everett. Now you need to teach him the "Daisy Bell/Bicycle Built for Two" song: "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do..." 🚴🏼♂️ Nice scooter work too. Is it just me or does Everett look like he's grown a bit since the last video. No. Unacceptable. No growing up... it's a trap. Stay young 😊 I agree with Bennett. It's too hot 🥵 Awesome staff technique Weston. He should take a class in Bōjutsu: Japanese Staff (Bō) Fighting 🇯🇵 It's amazing how lush and green your raspberry patch is. I had a blueberry bush at our old home. Time to plant some more. Strawberries too. We have a wild blackberry thicket along one side of our property. Yum. Your cherry tree looks good too. Reminder: what type of cherry is it? I've been enjoying some Rainier Cherries from the market. Delicious 🍒 I remember the inevitable glasses searches when Bry was little. Now, I help search for Mark's glasses. LoL. Mine don't usually get lost... but Dakota (cat) attempts a heist now and then 🤓 Ouch!! I don't know what you did, but just hearing it gave me sympathy pains 🤕 Hi Miss Luna. She's so adorable... Ash (cat) almost fell off the top of my chair the other day, then acted like he meant to do that. It's amazing how FurBabies know you're leaving, whether it be a short or long trip. You can't blame them for trying to stowaway. Maggie (dog) loves car rides and has tried on multiple occasions to sneak aboard... she's even jumped into the UPS truck once or twice 😼 I love watching y'all's go, go, go, back to back adventures. It's a mini recliner vacay for me. It's so much fun. Nowadays, my "home sweet home" mindset would break and my social meter would have a meltdown. I do enjoy a trip here and there, but spreadout and scheduled in advance so I can prepare my mind, body and sanity. I can even be a little spontaneous at times 🧳 Still wondering about rhubarb. There's none at my stores/markets yet. There is canned filling and in syrup, but I want to try it from its fresh state, preferably a jam or pie: recipe please 🥧 RVing is fun. We used to have a pop-up camper, and have considered renting a motorhome for a long road trip. I look forward to hearing about your experience. I'm sure RVing through Alaska would be awesome 🏕️ Jamba Juice Smoothies... Yum 🍹 Nice boat. We used to go knee-boarding on the lake my folks' lived on. They had a Pontoon for cruising, swimming and fishing; a Jon Boat for fishing; and a sportboat (wake-boat) for knee-boarding, skiing and tubing. Many happy memories 🛥️ Mark trying to get the boys ready for bed is hilarious. Does he really want to or does he want an excuse to let his inner child join in the fun. To work or not to work. That is the question 😁 Well, I've gotta get back to work. Have a great day. Yah's Blessings 🤗
I'm so glad you had a nice day to get some things done!! It has been fun seeing the difference in the boys personalities and what they are interested in. There are so many wonderful things for them to learn as 'Alaska Boys'😊I can't wait to go exploring in the motorhome-hope all goes well!!👌
Mark looks good with a mustache lol. The sun cast a shadow from his bee hat that looked like facial hair. I raised 3 boys in the 80s and 90s and I enjoy watching your family and having sweet memories of my brood. ♡ We had a sweet Pug🐶 not a Luna🐈⬛.
Regarding your rhubarb at your home... my dad once told me to just gently loosen the root ball by taking a garden potato fork and pushing it in beside the root ball and push the handle downward until you hear the root makes a cracking sound.. remove the fork and then water the plant well. Dad said it strengthens the plant.
My favorite thing in the summer is being able to get out and see nature more. Your raspberry trees and your cherry tree look nice. Hope they continue to grow. Can't wait to be able to see what your camping trip is going to be like.See you on your next video.
Am loving your videos from here in the UK. Am happy for all of us finally enjoying summer. What are you doing for preparing for the next winter and when does that start for you?
As the weather has been not so nice where I reside they bees in some of the hives have been a bit sluggish. So, we have decided to to pillage the hive this season but we will check the hives later when we get some warmer weather it has only be between 10 and 17 0f so hoping it gets a little warmer for everything in the beds. It’s really great that the children are interested in bee keeping. It is something useful in later life. All kudos to mummy and daddy teachers.
Your bees are looking great. I’m up in Fairbanks.. and my population exploded over the last 2 weeks and they started to cap honey.. added my honey super yesterday
Thanks for sharing. How often is the weather warm enough to use a boat? It’s great Mark knows how to tinker with that stuff. In NY, July and August were the big months, actually too if you include late June when the kids are out of school right to Labor Day Weekend. By October 10-15, all are closed. Looking forward to your motorhome rental. Is it a Class C? If things work out, that’s what we want to rent in AK. Till next time.😊
I’m a Boy mom also , mine are all grown up now @54 it ruff when I look back and remember those good ol days, my boys are 35 , 33, 23 and my baby /23 will marry soon and sad to think about it

Thank you so much friends for hanging out with us! What is your favorite thing about summer???
I don’t have to wear a coat! 🤣

It’s always summer in Florida. This time of year, it’s summer on steroids.

Your boys are so sweet. You and Mark are doing fantastic raising them. 😊
Best thing about the summer is more daylight hours. Wonderful seeing your son Weston taking an interest in the bees
He really loves the bees. Glad he wanted to help this time.
Daylight, u may b aware, AK , summer barely gets dark until 10 pm. Beautiful 😊❤
It’s so nice to see children away from electronics and outside playing and helping their parents. Good job!
It would be so fun if after you harvest your honey, you would put a small bottle in your next giveaway box.
If we get some, that is a great idea!
That's a lovely idea as long as the winner is not in Australia.
Weston is a sponge he is so willing to just get in there and learn. The two of you are so patient with all your children. Thank you so much for sharing all your adventures with us
I hope everyone is ok after the earthquake. Sending my thoughts and prayers to your family
Good evening Lauren and Mark and family and thank you for sharing your beautiful day 🌞 😊

Watching your videos about the bees is fascinating and a great learning experience! Thanks for sharing this!
Our pleasure!
I forgot to leave a comment, thanks for sharing this day with us. ❤
In the summer we enjoy camping in our 44 feet toy hauler
What a wonderful childhood you are giving the boys! You both are amazing parents. Love watching your adventures
Happy to see your water filter pitcher instead of plastic water bottles!!! Thanks
Lauren if you use vanilla extract on ur skin like suncream it stops the mosketto bites .
Thank you so much for the tip
Wow you're kids are awesome!!! They had to go to bed !!!

Weston is a good helper with the bees!
I enjoy watching your adventure videos, hope you had a great camping trip.😊
I'm not sure if someone has already mentioned this or not, but vanilla extract is a natural insect/mosquito repellent. Worth a try!

Lauren love your hair colour! Do you do it yourself? If so what shade do you use please? Love your videos 😊🇦🇺🇦🇺
It’s just my natural color, thanks!

Agreed, they are coming along nicely!
Are you taking food with you this time ???
Go put a hair tie in your keeper hat so you don’t forget to put your hair up next time.
To hot here Lauren 😊
Not the case here, sorry you are so hot.
Nice video
Hi from East Wenatchee , Washington 😊
Hello there!
Hi Lauren, What kind of cherry tree did you plant? I must have missed it when you planted it
Montmorency
Good video! Curious, why did you obscure the tree?
My address was on a pole, just for safety
Ahh, makes sense!

Do you make raspberry leaf tea from your raspberry plants?
Hi
Thanks for watching!
What did you say the brood of a hive is?
Brood is the larva and eggs
Putting such a dribble of water on your cherry tree isn't good for it. It encourages the roots to reach up for the water. Deep watering is necessary for the roots to grow downward
Thank you for the tip! It has been raining non-stop, this watering was more for show so I would remember to update about the tree.
We had recorded breaking heat far to hot for me
Dear Lauren, have you checked your goiter at doctors?
Yes I have, thanks for looking out for me.
