Christmas crackers are not something my American family has ever done but they are pretty popular in Canada where I live now. I picked up some Tom Smith Christmas crackers last week not realizing that they are the original! How fun! I am so excited to introduce my family to the tradition this year. I picked ones with party games inside which I think will be a lot more fun than the little trinkets you normally see inside. I certainly wouldn't turn down what is inside your niece's Christmas cracker though! Such a lovely surprise! ❤️
How cool is that! I have never been able to find the Tom Smith Crackers. The crowns that are placed inside his crackers are said to represent the crowns that the "wise men" bearing gifts for Jesus wore. Thanks for your comment!

🌲I can't tell you how many pieces of pre-cut tape I find stuck on the edge of my dinning table, in JUNE! I love the tradition of crackers. I've found them for many holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving and I believe Easter; usually in the Caspari area at Freshmarket. Thank you for your delightful videos!
I actually bought some crackers for Easter. Thank goodness for Caspari. And yes, some pieces of pre-cut tape just live on the side of my kitchen island. 😁

I love Southern Living from NY. Always gracious and lovely. I foraged some greens and berries to start. I keep it very simple and bring out what I have. 🎄
I did the same and also a few pine cones. I was shocked at the beauty they provide when placed in a silver mint julep cup or crystal vase.
