People have all sorts of ideas as to who Jack the Ripper really was - Charles Lechmere, Prince Albert Victor, Lord Randolph Churchill, the list goes on. But if you ask me, the real Jack the Ripper wasn’t any of them. I’m just about convinced that he was someone whose real name would be unfamiliar to us if we ever actually heard it, because he had no claim to fame outside of the murders he committed. He was someone unknown, who wouldn’t have stood out in a crowd, and whose true name is lost to history. And frankly, I’m okay with that. I’ll allow him his anonymity. I’d much rather think about his victims, who I sincerely hope are now resting in peace.
The mystery of Jack the Ripper pervades through history like a legendary monster stalking the darkest recesses of the human imagination I find it unlikely that he was someone from the upper classes with a long coat and tall hat as anyone like that would have stood out a mile in Whitechapel Whoever he was, he no doubt had an unspeakable hatred of women, especially prostitutes considering what he did to them Let's hope such cruelty and ferocity remains firmly embedded in our dark past
That’s the thing, though - only two of his victims (Elizabeth Stride and Mary Jane Kelly) were actually prostitutes. His first victim, Mary Ann “Polly” Nicols, was labeled as a prostitute by the newspapers because on the night of her murder she supposedly said she would use her “jolly bonnet” to get the money for her room, which was taken to mean that she was going to use it to attract a customer. In reality though, she probably was planning to sell the bonnet. And then his fourth victim, Catherine Eddowes, was labeled a prostitute because she had a tattoo, and many people thought only prostitutes and sailors had tattoos. But there was no evidence that either of them were prostitutes, nor that his second victim, Annie Chapman, ever was either. Only Mary Kelly and Elizabeth Stride were.
Great sub workout!! No, really this music is nicely done. When it was raining, I tried to match the amount of sound in a good rain storm with the volume knob. NICE!!!!! The pink high heel , ah.... Them women he rubbed out, probably not those kind. Been listening now for short time. Eyes closed, volume loud but not excessive. Just the best. You gotta turn it up for best listening experience. Headfons don't cut it! There ok but........
I like the gothic Victorian street ambience but a little humorous to see the hot pink shoe that would have never existed in the 1880s. I always find it a little amusing when sadly younger AI artists under 30 don't know anything about history . There was one someone posted also as Victorian parlor with film noir 1930s phone .. Oops. One really has to search TH-cam to find the truly immersive and historically correct ambience. Same goes for music background when I see a supposed for example FILM NOiR ambience from late 1940s and then the background music is cheezy 1980s Kenny G smooth jazz. WRONG .. But I also feel when I see some these I want to get out my photo shop and air brush out the historical errors. . P.S. During the period of Jack of the Ripper 1880s White Chapel in London was gaslight. Not electrical with lightbulb . So lots of historical inaccuracies in this one. Of course the average social media peruser would be clueless and never catch these mistakes.
Perfeito os vídeos desse canal nos reporta no tempo e no espaço os cenários e trilha sonora envolve a todos num clima de tensão e mistério onde a imaginação faz o resto do enredo
Brilliant. Could I use this as background music in a spooky jack the ripper podcast episode i'm working on for Halloween if i credit you in the episode notes?
Just from my perspective - a creepy, almost stalked atmosphere. These personally don't work as well for me as it does some, if anything they calm me down (I literally listen to this to sleep), but it does allow my imagination to go wild, what with the rain and storm, the creepy music. It just lets your imagination go free
Jack the Ripper and H.H.Holms is my favorite stories as a truck driver I listen to that new podcast about them and Bigfoot..🤷🏻♂️well it keeps me awake .Wouldn’t it be cool to go back in time to witness jack (but cannot interfere) 🫢.Nah if I could go back in time I would go to a Elvis concert late 70s 🚛
Its raining in my heart and soul. Thank you for being able to be in tune with it. Keep doing your great work ^^
Thank you so much!
Some of the very best dark ambient on this channel.

Маньяк - потрошитель происходил из английской королевской династии, это он отрезал женщинам груди, матки и языки.
@@locksmith2731 Can you provide any evidence that he was a member of the Royal Family?
