The warm toned bronzer is to give a warmth to skin and used at high points, if bronzer is darker enough it can create a look of shadow. I am personally not a fan of using bronzer as a contour it looks muddy on my neutral/cool toned skin. I also feel trying to contour using bronzer requires more blending. I also dislike bronzer itself. Do what suits your face. You really don't need to buy multiple products but what suits you.
You're right, contour only became a thing with the ig makeup trends. There are warm and cool toned bronzers, bronzer is how people added dimension to the face.

Contour is a cool toned dark shade to add shadow to face And a bronze also comes in stick from also and I a yellow undertone dark shade to add warm to face. And the reason it is looking same because she used warm undertone contour which is a bronzer

I never like contour it's just look like mud in my eyes. I've tried different shade of contour to find my perfect shade but still i don't like how it looks on me, still look like mud in my eyes😂 i love bronzer though.

yes you can use if the bronzer has matte finish and if you want more defined and sculpted look then you’ve to add contour with bronzer too
