Thanks Luisa, I'm glad you like them because you were such an inspiration to me! So thanks again for not only sharing your domino charms but taking the time to do a tutorial.
OMG, they are gorgeous. Thanks for the shot out. I'm really loving the last one the most. I'm always behind on trends. The domino thing I wanted to try last year. just never enough time in the day to do everything like I wish to. Big hugs Luisa
Thank you! I would try and use whatever I had, but I think any paint would work. I used metallic paint on one and it worked just fine. Just experiment and play, you never know what you may come up with!
Tara these are just fantastic. I love each and everyone and would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I must have missed Luisa's video on how she did these. I will have to go back and look. I am not to be trusted with power tools...heck if you saw my video from the other day I am not to be trusted with a glue gun either! lol hugs, Jonnie
Hi Tara, they turned out great. Right after your video, I found a lady using Dollar Tree domino's that are smaller and the dots are just stamped and I liked the effect.
These are really gorgeous! Really good work! Do you have a video showing how you made them? I think that would be so much fun to watch! But thank you for the ideas!!!
Soooo gorgeous! Funny because a friend and I were talking 2 months ago about an upcoming challenge regarding altered dominoes!! Yours came out awesome! Tfs
I am always late when it comes to the new trends in crafta or anything really. Ypu have such an eye for the details. My favorite is rhe Paris with the tower and heart and the butterfly in rhe light blue. I made some for Christmas , now I am anxious to try it with different things. Thanx for a great show and tell.
I love your charms especially the last one, I also love butterflies. But I did love your Paris and black domino charms. Awesome! Domino Charms are making a come back or at least a new interest. I’m working on my first set right now and I’m curious what you used to coat the image. I used Mod Podge with the blue label. I’m in no hurry to finish. I’m waiting for supplies and I may be making about 50 (for ladies at church). Thank you for sharing! Scatter sunshine all along the way. Smiles across the miles. Your Washington State friend.
These are really amazing! And don't call yourself behind on the trend. I still haven't even tried to make these yet. And I've been doing bottle cap charms for awhile now. Don't know why I haven't tried these yet. I just have one question. To adhere your image papers to the dominoes, what adhesive do you use? Thanks for sharing!
Your art work is fantastic and you are not the only one behind, I have some dominoes but have yet to alter any. Love the idea for attaching without drilling, she gave you a great tip and I am glad you shared...huggles
Your charms are beautiful. I think I'm going to try to make some. I'm usually a cardmaker and scrapbooker; and I have made some simple jewelry, but not anything like this. You inspire me to want to try.
So do you keep these, give them out or sell them? If you sell them how much would you charge per each one? Also what did you use to glus your bail/bale upon them?
SO pretty! Love all the different looks, the charms and the glitter. Thanks for sharing how you figured out the different ways to attach the bails. I had to laugh when you said you thought you were using Glossy Accents and it turned out to be Crackle Accents, lol. I'll have to give these a try! TFS :)
I love all of them! Gorgeous special touches and details. I saw Luisa's tutorial too and you added some good twists using those jewelry backs. Love that. This is on my Gotta Try That list :o) TFS. Big hugs, Kellie
These are so pretty. Please do tell what you use them for and if the hot glue lasts on that wire "hook" at the bottom. Also, what types of paints besides the krylon pen and the Tim Holtz distress to color dominos with?
They are just decorative, can be used as a necklace, to hang off of an album or used as a keychain. Yes the hot glue does last and I have seen people use alcohol inks to color them. Tfw!
I love all of these! I haven't made these yet and I want to. What are all the different things you can use to cover these. I have some Acrylic Paints, Metallic Paints and one Pear paint. I don't own any of those leaf markers. I have some Metallic Markers, will they do. I only have three alcohol inks and the colors aren't the best.
Tfs!! Those are fabulous. I love all of them. I get so addicted to watching videos, I don't get anything done. Lol. I've been wanting to try them, for yrs. Hahaa. Maybe by March. Happy crafting. Hugs....
YW! I've been up for nites watching tutorials from Kathy Orta & Laura Dennison. I need to get creating too. I haven't done anything since thanksgiving. Except secret santa. Love, love getting happy mail. I'm wishing hard for some. Happy Crafting!!! Hugs~
what did you use to attach the bail...... what type of adhesive? I'm going to be making some of these this week, going tomorrow to buy the bails and such for keychains.

Thank you! I would try and use whatever I had, but I think any paint would work. I used metallic paint on one and it worked just fine. Just experiment and play, you never know what you may come up with!
