I really hope you enjoyed Rome, I`ve always said everyone should be lucky enough to visit Rome at least once in a life time,it`s like a Pandora box, always revealing new secrets.I want to believe im well travelled(over 50 counutries) and italy is one of those countries that always mazes me especially Rome.
thanks so much again,it`s lovely seeing things from your lenses.
Awesome info. Thanks for being quick and concise. You sure know how to pack a lot of info in a short video. Good job!
Just booked our tickets to Rome and this is very helpful. Thank you 😁
Leaving for Rome in 2 weeks. Thanks so much for this!
You’re welcome!! Hope it’s helpful 🫶
How was it
Another excellent and informative video, Christina. We were there in 2018 and enjoyed our trip. March is a beautiful month to visit as it’s warm during the day and cool at night. An added bonus is that the crowds are thinner. Check out the Trastavere area near the Vatican. It was not touristy when we visited and the cafes are restaurants were small and humble but incredibly good.
Thanks so much for this, really appreciate it!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching 🫶
Excellent, quick, straightforward info! Thank you!
Thank you for this video, it was super helpful!
Love your videos ❤ so informative and useful thank you
Very helpful information . Thank you. 😊
Leaving for Rome soon! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Thank you for a great video Christina! I’ll be going to Rome next week, staying 2 nights near the Vatican City before cruising. It’ll be my first time in Rome and your tips are very helpful. Any good restaurants that you can recommend?
Great tips. Thank you
Thank you for helping me get ready :)
Great video! Thank you
I love that the Lizzie McGuire movie was mentioned in this video!! I also think of When in Rome with Mary-Kate and Ashley! This video was great! I’m visiting this summer during peak season, but I’m still super excited 😊 I’ll be traveling solo and I’ve got a great power walk 😂
Wow! Super comprehensive. Appreciate the tip about staying at the airport hotel: great idea
Love this video, doing a singles trip to Rome in the fall with my besties and this video has really helped us plan our adventure 😃
Going to Rome in a weeks time and this has helped a lot. Thank you🙂
Love Rome! Beautiful Place! Beautiful People! 🌆✨💕🇮🇹
I love your videos I learn something new, we are going to Italy in April and I have shared your videos with my family. You did cleared many things I was wondering about like the city taxes in a vrbo to be paid in cash at check in
wonderful tips. Love Rome. Thank you
Thanks for watching
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!! Glad you enjoyed the video 🫶 safe travels!
Really lovely and informative video, especially with the reference to the Rome Pass. Great advice on that. I would add to your food section by saying; if you want to experience genuine Gelato, don't buy from places where it is displayed as piled high and tons of colors. Authentic Gelato is NEVER piled high, and comes in oftentimes muted colors, but contains rich and incredible flavors, generally of the fruit that is currently in season.
6. Villa Borghese is perhaps the most beautiful stately home in Western Europe. It must be booked online only, usually 4 weeks ahead is required because it is very popular. 7. During the month of August, the metro train lines may be shut down for weeks for maintenance - I learnt this the hard way. 9. Some churches have a box requiring 1 or 2 euro coins to turn a light on at their more popular chapels - in particular the Caravaggip frescos in churches San Luigi dei Francesi and the church in Piazza del Popolo.
Hi Christina!! This was so helpful, we are taking a trip in December, but I do have one question hopefully you can answer regarding the water bottle and water fountains...How do you know if it is a water fountain and that the water is clean to drink!?
Heyy at 9:20, could you please write the name of the parks you mentioned?
And what do you mean by "top of the hour" at 9:30?
Thank you, visiting Rome next week :)
Top of the hour means on the hour
How is the weather in crowd in mid June?
Thank you for a very informative video on Rome. Please make more videos on cities in Spain and Portugal if possible.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching 🫶 I could definitely make that happen. Any cities in particular you’re looking for?
Lisbon, Porto, Viseu, Setubal in Portugal, and Vigo, and Madrid, in Spain.@@HappytoWander
Great info thanks so much 🤗
👍👋i am citizen of rome, and confirm her words be good
I'm visiting in December, how do you know which water fountains have clean water for you to drink? Or are they all clean for drinking water?
@@Sasbeans2810 the water in the small public fountains in Rome is all drinkable, however the water in the large fountains is not drinkable, so don't drink in the Trevi Fountain and in Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, and so on. Many tourists don't know that to drink comfortably from the small fountains you have to plug the water outlet towards the bottom and the water will come out from a smaller hole towards the top. A piece of advice: take a hotel in the historic centre, because you will walk a lot, even a small one is fine, such as Hotel Portoghesi near Piazza Navona. You can trust the comments on Google for restaurants, museums, clubs. Have a nice holiday.

13:20 do you tip a waiter? and how much?
❤❤
Lol the Lizzie McGuire movie
When I’m «hangry»
Showing prices for 2 days before the video was released. I bet you looked at those prices months ahead. When i had to stay due to a cancelled flight, it was WAY MORE than 1.5eur lmao
Why do you say the Hop On Hop Off bus is not good for Paris and Rome?
4:37 Roma Pass 6:28
I’m going to Paris, London, or Rome. I don’t know where to go.🤔🤔🤔😰😰
This might be a stupid question but, is there dive bars in and around the area? And I do mean Dive bars, like the dirty dingy bars here in the states
🥰😎
Lots of fantastic information, but you speak so fast! I thought my playback was speeded up! I take notes,so had to listen over and over.
Is there very many gluten-free options at restaurants?
It’s pronounced porketta not porchetta
Cafe macchiato has only foam not milk
You can order a caffe latte if you want milk in your coffee or a cappuccino
You sound fun at parties
@@CalebsCars at least not
Ignorant
@@CalebsCars 😂really
What are you talking about that you can’t get a latte? Yes, if you ask for just a “latte,” you’re going to get just milk; you have to ask for a “caffe latte”. Also, if you want milk in your espresso, you don’t order a macchiato, which has just a little bit of milk foam.
There’s always a cranky person watching these travel videos. Lol. She gave a perfectly wonderful solution to the problem.
@@billybee9659, I’m not being “cranky,” I’m giving you the proper advice because this vlogger clearly doesn’t understand what she’s saying. What she proposes is no “solution” in Italy.
No one sits on a public toilet !!!
You talk much too fast and it is not easy to follow.😮
You can change the playback speed. She sounds pretty good at 0.75. Also, turn on CC.
