If they're worried about player safety AND they want to go to an 18 game season, then every player can only be activated for a maximum of 16 games during the season.
You would have thought the quick rejection of even discussing the absurd fumble in to the end zone rule would have prompted Dan to ask why or Florio to give us some insight into what the reason might be.
I’d take Caleb over Fields just because of $$. But if I’m NE @3, I’m taking Harrison Jr. and whichever of Bo Nix or Michael Penix is available in round 2. Either is a marked upgrade from Jones.

Players that I like are considered busts &or mistakes already, Trevor Lawrence was as can't miss as a QB as anyone had ever seen. I like Trevor but he's looked special for 10 games in 2022 and in the second-half of a postseason games &that's it. Twelve teams in 2023 went into the year starting quarterbacks that weren't even drafted in the first round. When #1 picks and #2 picks are getting cut &or traded by year three thinking Caleb Williams is gonna be w/ Mahomes &Allen soon is just insane to me. I expect better from Florio i do

Why would you not want to change the fumble/touchback rule? Every time it happens, it's a huge issue. Why should the offense get punished so much more for fumbling into the end zone than they do at the 1-yard line? Change of possession when the defense doesn't recover it makes no sense.
Always disappointed when Dan has Florio as a guest. The guy who started as just a fan has become an attention-hungry "expert" who is an egomaniac and likes to spread rumors and nastiness about his perceived enemies. I won't watch any segment he appears in on any platform.

The end zone is the defenses territory. You lose possession of the ball through the end zone you lose possession.
