Dear Dr Moeed, in the recent past I have generally avoided listening such traditional programs conducted on Indo-Pak relationship because it’s a genuine waste of time in my opinion.
However, astonishingly I was glued to this episode till the end and screen got blank.
It’s been an episode of diverse perspectives, information and facts not restricted to Indo-Pak, China but world at large with an agreement to disagree, some abrupt laughters and beyond. Apparently a dry and rotten subject transformed into a light, effective, and time worthy discussion.
It’s evident in all your shows that even after all the bombardment up on few of you who are fighting the war for logic, freedom of expression(s) and truth, you once again remained a humble, intelligent, eager, passionate, respectful true Pakistani in this discussion. Your counterpart, respected Mr. Pravin was equally at par.
These discussions need lot of research, knowledge, time, resources and willingness to learn and to listen the opposite point of view.
That was the hallmark of this discussion.

A critic should speak beyond personal likes and dislikes; they should rise above their own preferences when discussing. A critic should be honest in their analysis. We don't listen to or admire a critic for mental solace but rather to understand situations. We continue to read Kuldip Nayar, Mani Shankar Aiyar, Seema Mustafa, Khashwant Singh with the same enthusiasm. If you say so, then I'll start liking Arnab Goswami in Pravin Sawhney 's place.

Wow, I'm enjoying listening to Mr Pravin Swahney so immensely that its indescribable. Here is a man who has different level of understanding altogether on regional and int politics. I realize how narrow has our vision hs bn made by the bloody rogue politicians and military that we so engrossed in our petty day to day Realpolitik of the bloody military that are almost incapable of looking at the bigger pic.

He was a part of the Indian delegation to Pakistan so i guess he is very mush valued in the Quarters that matter / count.
He is not anti India infact he is a true Indian 😊 , He is not anti Modi either , yes he may be objecting here and there on Modi,s extremist ideology ( where ever it may be) but his objection should be cosidered healty objection in the Indian democratic society.
To grow Financial prosperity is not the only field in which a country needs to excell but there are other sectors too such as Cultural diversity , religous harmony / tolerence , freedom in the true sence to all , equal growth opurtunities to all etc.
For country like India with such a diverse cultre with so many religious minorities an unbiased approach is the best way forward, otherwise internal conflicts / caos will hamper the true growth of india as fabric of the society will be damaged.
Religious extremisim may it be hindu , muslim , christian , jew or sikh has devastating affects on the social fabric.
Mr Pravin may have an unpopulist opinion but that is the truth.

Dr. Moeed it was a great INITIATIVE to invite Mr. Paravin on your show. Mr. Pravan has tremendous knowledge not just on India & Pakistan's traditional issues but to the extent of world political issues and he was very much updated on various points which you were sort of blank on many occasions.
However, it's always good to have such open minded well learned people from India as the two countries have already suffered tremendous amount of financial and military resources just on the basis of misunderstandings, self provoked hatred.
In the end I must say that you did your best in conducting this debate and you must carry on such knowledgeable discussions more often.

Good to hear Prawin Sawhney appreciating the independent journalists of Pakistan. He also rightly gives credit to Imran Khan/ Bajwa for improved focus on socioeconomics. He’s also right in that India and Pakistan Armies are balanced in that if Pakistan lost Bangladesh in 1971, India had also lost half of Kashmir in 1948.

Pakistan lost Bangladesh in 1971 and India lost half of Kashmir in 1947...this is very very wrong comparison.
Pakistan actually lost war of Kashmir in 1947 also...J and K was princely state with complete autonomy during British rule.
When Indo Pak were liberated in 1947....Pakistan invaded J and K with the intention that it is an autonomous region and not a region of newly formed India...But still Pakistan failed to take whole J and K and Indian forces restricted them to present-day Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan...That was actually win of India.

Very good vlog. You should have more of these.
One suggestion would be to avoid abrupt interruption, but a very good vlog nonetheless the less. Also would be good to identify the scope of the vlog. The conversation moved from China US to India Pakistan and it felt like it was all over the place.
Dr. Moead ,this is great stuff. We need more of such vlogs. There is a greater need of interaction with indian commentators who have interest in India and pak issues.
Only justice can lead to emancipation of humanity and democracy is the first stepping stone!

Dr Pirzada - it’s just such a great discussion- I have listened to Parvin Swahney’s vlogs for some time and it’s always amazing to hear him logically explain things without negativity. This is the kind of intellectual discourse that needs to happen between India and Pakistan. I agree with you - you should have a discussion with him every week! If you look at the comments under his vlogs he has a sizeable Pakistani audience. I think we need a logical, less emotionally charged assessment of where we went wrong.
