@@wanderingwhere excited for the Kia:) btw I found out my pancreantitus acted up and made me pretty much diabetic I went to the emergency room on my day off tuesday, so that's why I've been down, so I should be working on the vent this Tuesday I have a new design that's like a sort of basket that clips onto the inside of the widow itself and holds the fans and the vent hood. It's going to have to be light weight, do you have disposable turkey baking tins to use as a vent hood in the U.K.?

I think the bird was a lapwing sometimes called a peewit, it makes a call similar to your description and the shape of it flying looked like one. A ring ouzel is more like a blackbird in looks and call.
Lol that cooking session - it was like watching the Keystone Cops Go Camping! As long as it tasted good then it was worth it ! Beautiful views up there too and pretty villages, thank you Adam 😊
Tell us more as it fascinates me what noises you heard. I stand in my garden stargazing and sometimes I hear a bird do a burbling kind of call. That though is ok.
@@valwright9871 hi Val, on those moors, in was camping with my son in a tent. The first night was ok, a mist rolled in enveloping the tent, creepy, and silent. In the night we heard steps around the tent which we put down to animals. However, on the second night in was awoken about 2am, and as crazy as it sounds I could feel something was near us, at which point what I can only describe as a woman laughing in a hysterical sinister way. I find it difficult to describe, I’ve heard foxes, cats, badgers in the past but nothing like this. I’m not a nervous camper, in fact I’m more fascinated by these things, however, this scared me

@@valwright9871 it was weird, I’ve driven across those moors in the winter and it is a creepy place in the dark . I’ve asked many people what they thought it may have been, no idea. However, just to add a creepy twist to this, I used to work as an agency nurse, and a lady was brought in having been found barely conscious by the side of the road. I got chatting to the lady and she told me that she travelled the country by foot, and would sleep under trees in forests away from people. I was told that she had heard weird sounds at night, and when I described what I had heard, she stopped what she was doing, looked at me and with a serious look said she had heard something similar once and it was the only time she felt scared……… weird

I don't know if it's because I'm Scottish, but I love when it's all grey, dreicht and foggy like that. It's very atmospheric and my soul just feels at peace, so I really enjoyed this. The cooking was hilarious, it just kept getting worse 😂 I'm glad it tasted alright! Glad I found this channel.

Ah it's a shame you didn't get the weather but I can tell you the views are definitely worth coming back for. The views along the Cleveland way are even better though with some great hiking routes too. I know a couple of good little parking spots for you with full phone signal 👍there's square corner just on the outskirts of osmotherly and there's clay bank car park with stunning views

Most realistic vanlifer. This is how you look, cook in a van, those are the clothes and the unkempt appearance. Freedom at its finest. Not the clean, no bit of dirt to be seen country chicqe expensive builds. Well done, nice channel, keep it going and never learn to cook :)

The Iron ore mined from the moors was shipped out from Port Mulgrave which is just up the road from Whitby . Port Mulgrave is well worth a visit next time your up this way 💪👍

Please be careful with food dates as I got food poisoning from eating minced beef and now have many intolerances because of it, pork seems to be the main avoidance. I misread the date and cooked it, smelt fine and looked ok but was actually about 4 days past. I'm currently suffering from undiagnosed bowel issues daily because of it 7 years later and don't wish it upon anyone so, if in doubt, chuck it out. Great channel though and seen a few of your videos so subscribing now. Thankyou 😀👍

The bird you heard, I believe was a lapwing also known as a Peewit , i think not an Ouzel , very rare birds , seen a few up in the cairngorms area, the Ring Ouzel. The lapwing is a plover like the Golden Plover, which also has a beautiful plaintive song you may hear up in the moorlands. :-)

If you get pulled by the police on your E-Bike they check and find its been de-restricted. say a spot check, which they are doing in some areas, you are riding an un-registered Motorcycle and the penalties are the same. bike taken and crushed, Fines, and you could lose your driving licence, Max motor allowed is 250w and the motor must cut out at 15.5mph, (25kmh) Just Saying.
@@rightasrain7949 If you google, UK E-Bike laws, the go to the Gov site its all there. Also you have to be at least 14yrs old to ride any legal, electrically powered vehicle. That falls in line with seat belt laws, any anybody above 14, its their reasonability to wear on.
I love lying in the car listening to the rain. Found a track of car rain (not a fake one) on TH-cam that does the trick when I’m home. Where do you store your ramps, Adam? They’re a bloody nuisance but the first time you leave em home you’ll need them. Mine haven’t found a home yet. 🇦🇺🚘
:) ... the ramps are just the right size to fit in the footwell in the front passanger seat area, ontop of each other, quite good they help to hold all the other bits in place i keep there

Great vid as usual but as I've motioned before, and to warn anyone think of doing the same thing. You are riding an illegal e-bike. If you get pulled by the police on your E-Bike they check and find its been de-restricted. say a spot check, which they are doing in some areas, you are riding an un-registered Motorcycle and the penalties are the same. bike taken and crushed, Fines, and you could lose your driving licence, Max motor allowed is 250w and the motor must cut out at 15.5mph, (25kmh) Just Saying.

@@rightasrain7949 If you google, UK E-Bike laws, the go to the Gov site its all there. Also you have to be at least 14yrs old to ride any legal, electrically powered vehicle. That falls in line with seat belt laws, any anybody above 14, its their reasonability to wear on.

I love lying in the car listening to the rain. Found a track of car rain (not a fake one) on TH-cam that does the trick when I’m home. Where do you store your ramps, Adam? They’re a bloody nuisance but the first time you leave em home you’ll need them. Mine haven’t found a home yet. 🇦🇺🚘
:) ... the ramps are just the right size to fit in the footwell in the front passanger seat area, ontop of each other, quite good they help to hold all the other bits in place i keep there
