📖 Our Story:
We bought this stone house in Italy during the pandemic in 2020. The house was a ruin and we saved everything we could, unfortunately that meant only four stone and clay walls! The back wall, against the terrain, was close to collapse; the roof beams were eaten and basically reduced to dust; the inside separation walls were easily taken down and the whole project turned into a heavy renovation/rebuild.

I love your kitchen back splash. I did a similar treatment 20 year ago in my 170 year old farmhouse and the look of modern and old has stood the sense of time for me as it will for you.

The white doors and walls. 3 years from now when the toddler runs in the house touching the walls with their dirty little hands😂☺️ it will be a big moment. But for now, its phenomenal work and beautiful.

D'abord un peu surprise par votre choix pour la crédence, je trouve pourtant le résultat final très réussi. Esthétique, durable et sans aucun doute très facile à entretenir 👍 J'adore les portes. On ne saurait pas faire plus discret. Pas d'encadrement visible, charnières cachées. Et fermeture magnétique.

The clean lines of the backsplash and doorframes are self-effacing, withdrawing from the limelight to allow center stage to the natural materials surrounding them: stone, wood, terracotta. A brilliant solution to the challenge of bringing an ancient structure into modern life.

Have been loving the work that has been done. But the stainless steel backsplash is not my fave. We did the same but used copper sheet for the bench top and backsplash. It has worn beautifully & doesn’t care what hot objects I put on it.
We too considered copper ☺️ but we already had a lot of materials in that range of color..

Bonjour à vous deux, c'est très joli, mais par contre à l'usage l' inox est très pénible, il faut toujours avoir un e éponge et un chiffon à la main .
Unfortunately, I got rid of stainless steel in my kitchen as I was constantly trying to keep it looking nice, but in a kitchen, it just didn't work for me.. sorry!

A beautiful "look" (the stainless steel backsplashes) but I would have used some terrific modern TILE -- to avoid continually having to clean the steel (grease, fingerprints, food splashes, et cetera). To me this is "Style over function." I think you MIGHT regret this, but I sincerely hope not!

Im curious, what will you do if an appliance, a pot or a pan dents the stainless? When this happens to refrigerators or dishwashers you can just order a new skin. I don’t wish this on you. Just wondering if you’ve already figured out what you’ll do
I like the simplicity of installation and the quality of materials without tiles and ease of cleaning in future use.

Ciao le porte sono belle l'unica pecca che io la maniglia esterna l'avrei fatta di incastro e nn avanzava fuori ed era tutto liscio come la parete. Per la cucina nn entusiasta dell'acciaio inossidabile bello da vedere ma brutto da pulire comunque complimenti sta uscendo bene continuate cosi che alla fine sarà un gioiello. Buona serata

Personalmente avrei fatto delle lastre di pietra nello stile delle pareti e poi avrei fatto un pannello di vetro da pulire da esso a causa dell'aspetto di cura. O solo vetro intorno al muro per vedere. Ma dovrebbe piacerti e tutto ciò che ti piace è giusto 😊
