Being born in 1980 meant I had a great music education. John peel, Tommy Vance, fluff, all on radio. Programs like this rock family trees on tv. Kerrang!, Melody Maker. Going to Woolworths on a Saturday morning to buy vinyl. I miss those simpler times. My first LP was Pink Floyd the wall, my second, Black Sabbath.

Totally agree! I've always thought the comparrisons between Ozzy & Dio were lame as hell. The only reason people do it is because they both fronted for the same band! They are both great in their own way! Long Live Ozzy Osbourne! RJD R.I.P.

I hear a lot of arguments about Dio and Ozzy as to who was better and to be honest it's stupid coz' Personally I can't imagine Ozzy singing Heaven and hell or Dio singing Black Sabbath...

Ronnie J Dio was pefect for Sabbath.I think he was a great singer and put Sabbath back on top again.
