Classic British Rail - Basingstoke 6th March 1991

In a couple of hours one afternoon at Basingstoke we see a number of trains with Class 33 , 47 and 50's being seen before I depart for Waterloo behind 50046.

I had to travel Waterloo - Salisbury quite a lot in those days. A variable experience; this brings it all back.

Well a Freightliner was just about the highest priority freight there was then I think. Although could also depend on there route etc etc
