I watched this video religiously after you posted it. It caused me to buy tekkonkinkreet on dvd and then the manga. I showed it to everyone I knew and they all enjoyed it as well. I watched it so often that I could close my eyes and watch the whole sequence in my head. One day while I was studying in france in 2012 I wanted to show it to friends at a party and much to my dismay it was gone. I grabbed my laptop immediately and downloaded tekkonkinkreet and opened the mp3 file of Vanished and got to work. After an hour or so I felt I had recreated it well enough to live up to the standards of the original creators. Thank you for seeing how beautiful this song and this sequence could be together and thank you for your kind words. You in fact have made my day.
