Different story in winter when the Canadian "Snow Birds" flock in. They live in a modern development about fifteen minute drive south of downtown called Loreto Bay Village. The Cathedral in town was open. Just walk around the construction.
I don’t think they are brother and sister they are a couple. But down south in the usa I do know some brothers and sisters that make intimate from time to time so I don’t judge. Whatever makes them happy!
I can see a lot of comments concerned about safety. Well, if you are a foreigner in any country you just have to play it safe, don't push it and use common sense and you will be alright. Mexico is no different but there is absolutely no reason not to enjoy it. Basic rules that's it. And by the way, cartels are not interested in tourists at all or never heard anything of that before. Out of all the places I visited in the peninsula of Baja California , Loreto stole my heart ❤️ I need to go back and visit both misions, they were fixing the street of the one in Loreto and I didn’t make to San Javier because it was getting dark. Great food though at Santo Cielo Restaurant in front of “Our Lady of Loreto Mision”
We were there last year! There's a great little micrebrewery in the square. There are 2 short hikes you can do as well just outside of town. We also took a cruise to the islands and we saw many blue whales. Just an awesome place!

Very well done video. It’s great to see more than restaurants and people eating (ugh) . I love seeing the surrounding area and a look at a full perspective of the area. Thank you.
Cool seeing the surrounding area around Loreto. We were there last year, but travelled by bus so we stayed around the town. We really like the area around the malecon and watching all of the pelicans around there. 😁
Thank u for sharing your Baja Cali Mexico trip with us. I’m goin next month and you helped add a lot of places to list besides the tourist places. Great videos salud
Bajas are the Mexican "meditarranean" climate. And these missions and towns continue up to the Alta California, as the now California was known during the Spanish colonization. Some of these missions are now big cities like San Diego and Los Angeles, or San Francisco, etc etc
Was in Loreto back in the mid 80's on a dive trip with friends. Fonatur had already built modern roads and sidewalks to accommodate their future growth plans for Loreto as a tourist destination, but that growth hasn't "exploded" to the extent Fonatur had planned...30+ years later. I'm not sure that's a bad thing. It was a great place to be off the beaten path back then, and still looks like a perfect place to be now. Of the 2 cities, La Paz and Loreto, which would you visit and which would you live? The juxtaposition of the Sea of Cortez and the desert creates amazing scenery. Great drone shots.
Vcs dois estão de parabéns! Graças a vocês tive coragem de levar uma vida mais leve, a vida q sempre quis, e a mudança curou muitos problemas crônicos que estavam me atormentando a muito anos. Desejo uma vida longa e feliz ao casal!
Those missions are amazing "right" shame you did not get to go into any of them. Where I grew up we had a few missions around and from the 1700's and was always fascinated by them, guess it was a place of peace for me. are you still on the inside of Baja in the Gulf? It reminds me of death valley and Arizona's cactus desert. To me it has always been hot and dry in Baja, but was always on the pacific coast side to surf. didn't like the fact of all the sharks back then when you were in the water. Now there are great whites off the coast and I am glad I don't surf anymore haha. Guys with club ay, yeah it can get your nerves up and blood pumping, but Mexican people for the most are really cool and I am blown away that they didn't ask if you wanted some and invited you to their casa. cool drone footage of the areas you were both at, I really enjoyed them!! Thanks Chris and Carol for all the cool things you brought us from your journey through Mexico. Peace my dear friends😎
You are less likely to get food poisoning in Baja Mexico. Their food safety standards are better regulated because they get so many visitors from the USA. Plus the seafood from Baja is always fresh. It's actually a major fishery for Mexico and a lot of their seafood is exported to Japan.
Greetings from Kuwait. Spot-on observation that Baja California closely resembles Oman. Well worth a visit one of these days. AS always, thoroughly enjoyed your video today.

In Baja there are no rivers, they are called arroyos. The main difference is that in the arroyos water filter down to underground as it travels downhill to the sea. Through the course of time water will stay meters underground in a mod like mix, sand/water, usually those places are called Oasis. Bienvenidos a BCS al descierto mas hermoso.... Y con playa!
It looks like you have nice dry heat w/o the humidity. I will take that weather any day of the humid over the humid summers we have in a lot of the USA.

I love all your scenic shots. I wish you would also add the descriptions of the foods you eat in every place you visit. I find the vloggers who introduce much of their foods tend to attract a lot of subscribers near to a million and some have multiple millions of subscribers to follow their foods in the countries they visit. I don’t like to watch mostly foods alone though foods attract me. I love videos contain both scenic spots as well as yummy foods. I wish you two would consider videotaping your meals while you eat.
