    Conor is easily one of the best boxers in MMA. He's actually technical even for boxing standards, while everyone else is so basic.

    • @dontfeedthecode
      @dontfeedthecode 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +TIKI K I agree, Nate's always touted as the better boxer but Conors technique is much more fluid and precise.

      ***** never underestimate anyone with those 4oz. gloves. Traditional boxing, the Diaz Bros wouldn't be as effective because of the pillow gloves, but with the smaller gloves, their pitter latter style is very effective, because one shot still hurts like hell, and can daze you, even if it's not the most powerful shot, while you're getting more and more tired from continually bombing away at them, while they match forward, and taunt you.

      Funny id put that down to the reason he lost, like Nate said he trains with world class opponents. Conner trains with his friends, to many yes men around him making him think hes unbeatable...

      Cant wait till Conor opens up a his World Class Gym. Maybe he can call it "Pool Noodle Beatdowns" or "How to Tap Twice". Maybe if he didnt waste all that money on Bentleys and shipping his friends( his yes men) in from Ireland, he could of afforded a proper BJJ coach & Boxing coach that doesnt use a pool noodle to show him what its like to take a hit from something other then a pool toy.

    Conor looks faster in this weightclass. Impressive

    • @grimmywizard
      @grimmywizard 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      No. Too much muscle mass, this is the weight he walks around in when not fighting. If you think he's fast here, then 145 Conor is lightning fast. And although 155 is heavier it's the ideal wright class for Conor. I mean, he literally got a shot at the lightweight champion straight away when he was the featherweight champ. And he knocked him clean out like it was child's play, in both Cage Warriors against Ivan Buchinger, and in UFC against Eddie Alvarez. People can hate on him as much as they want but Conor is insane. And when you're on top, people are bound to hate you and try to pull you down highlighting every little mistake they make, let alone the big mistakes like talking Khabib fight slacking off

    Hope he's been training leg kicks extensively this past week, because he's gonna need them to stop Nate's forward momentum. I don't think straight boxing gets it done agaisnt Nate. Yeah, you could be a big more skilled, but Nate's chin and durvaility more than make up for that, and with the 4oz. gloves those tippy tap punches really add up, even from just a few, while we already know how sick Nate's chin is. I got Nate with the upset. This is the fight to show whether Conor has it in him to go all 5 in a grueling war.

    If I was a professional fighter I would not do open workouts. I wouldn't want anyone seeing my methods. And I'm not into blowing up my ego trying to show off in front of people. It would simply be about destroying whoever I was up against and leaving it up to everyone else to figure out how I trained etc. The less people see of what you can do, the better, provided that you are winning and getting the fights you want.

    man conor is much better at grappling then i thought, i bet he's way better on the ground then we know, mendes did take him down etc but he always got up...and it's hard to defend a takedown from someone like mendes lets be honest, even aldo couldnt
    used to really dislike conor but he's growing on me a lot after the aldo fight, he proved me wrong

    • @PatSTom
      @PatSTom 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Rakim Henry Yes Mendes took him down easily, but what most people forget, its that Conor had a injury at that time, which took away his movment, making him no longer be abel to control the distance, which made it easy to cut off the ring and get a takedown on him

  • @McFlySwatter
    @McFlySwatter 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    07:35 (Conor)- "How's your rib?" (Artem)- "I ain't got no problem" ..... Now that's the difference between real fighters and these pretenders that keep pulling out of fights with scratches and bruises. Diaz insulted Ido Portal during the presser but he will soon experience the painful results of Conor's training with him.

    • @RollTideRoll_GSP
      @RollTideRoll_GSP 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep he experienced Conor's best shots, still came forward and then when Nate started landing he almost dropped Conoe and turned him into a panick wrestler right before Nate outclassed him on the mat and made Conor quick tap. Dude was completely overrated and will never win the 155 belt. He can't beat anyone in the top 5 at lightweight. The #5 LW just beat him without a camp. Better hope he can make 145 a few more times or it back to fighting on fight nights and the undercard.

    this irishman is dialed in mentally and physically- like a zen state , visualize when ready to rumble. ready or not here comes da irishman. we own vegas saturday night. great hand speed with power shots on mitts. he could fight as a world class boxer. he should try and get a boxing match with mayweather. train just boxing 3 months and he could do it.

    • @RollTideRoll_GSP
      @RollTideRoll_GSP 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Was dialed in against midgets. Finally fought somebody his size and got beat by a dude who didn't even have a camp. He was completely overrated and the top 5 at 155 will all destroy Conor so better hope he can still make 145 or no more championship fights cause he will never win the 155 belt or at least not for a very long time. I don't think he ever will tho but it took RDA yrs to perfect his craft so there is the possibility. Conor has no ground game and his striking doesn't work against guys his size

    • @hater3669
      @hater3669 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Incorret.
      1) It is not true that he has no ground game - Holloway fight, end of a Mendes fight, end of a 1st rouno of Diaz fight (i m not sayin that his ground game is great but "no ground game" is bullshit)
      2) His striking looked pretty good in the 1st round with Diaz before he gassed. It also looked great against Holloway who is bigger than Conor and against Porier who is similar size.

    • @RollTideRoll_GSP
      @RollTideRoll_GSP 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Milan Papírovevrécúško He has defensive Jiu Jitsu at best against fighters like Nate, RDA, or Khabib. Think any of them are gonna worry about being submitted by Conor when they go to the ground? He needs to continue working on it like the best fighters in MMA have done. Comes with years and years of practice. Another fighter who has a ground game is Luke Rockhold. These are the types of fighters you don't wanna be on the mat with. Don't think the elite fighters that he is fighting now are worried about going to the ground with Conor. They all actually wanna take him down!! Now he is thinking about boxing Mayweather when he should be focusing on MMA. Mayweather will light Color up in a boxing match. Make him look stupid. Kinda like Mayweather does damn near all the elite boxers.

    • @RollTideRoll_GSP
      @RollTideRoll_GSP 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Milan Papírovevrécúško No Doubt it will make huge $$$. Think the fight would be disappointing for all the viewers. I think Floyd's speed is so much faster than CM that it wouldn't even be close. Just saw where Anderson Silva had gallbladder surgery last night and isn't fighting this weekend. The 198 card was just to good to be true, someone had to pull out.
