Thank you for reviewing the film. I agree that this would be a good entry film into horror, even a double feature with Cobweb (2023), because of the fairytale themes. Also, I agree with you on Dakota Fanning and Maika Monroe looking so alike, they should be in a film together as sisters. Fun fact, Monroe was in a movie called Watcher in 2022. Thanks again for your review
just watched one with Georgina Campbell called T.I.M. released last year about AI, I screamed at by screen the whole time in frustration, great acting though. Ive been wanting to watch barbarian because of the amazing reviews but I'm honestly terrified to lol. you saying "The watchers" wasn't too scary is a selling point for me. Thanks for review
Great analysis, Sarah! It is a movie that captures our curiosity with a mystical mystery. Dakota plays the role of her, Masterfully! I loved her interaction with the yellow bird (Try not to die). And how she carried the cage throughout all the forest. *Irrelevant comment:* The first time I saw the trailer... I confused Dakota with Amanda Seyfried.
I saw this movie opening weekend to a pretty empty theatre. I enjoyed it and loved the sub-genre used within it. I would say it’s more suspense with a few jump scares. But a really good debut film.
Thanks for reviewing the film! Been interested in this for sure! And it allowed me to find your site! Excited to go through your older content! I love movies period, but #horror is my most often go to and my favorite genre. Cheers from the US 😎👍
I didn’t think this movie was bad at all. I need to stop watching some other TH-cam channel reviews before I watch movies because they really blow it out of proportion sometimes. I thought it was a decent movie with a few little plot holes.
I try not to watch or read any reviews before I see a film because I don't want to be swayed either consciously or subconsciously. Always better to make your own mind up.
Good review!
would be a cool nod if she does cameo in her films like her dad
Thank you for spoiler free! This will help me decide if I want to see it or not.
Ishana seems talented and hard working. Nice to see her paving her own way!
Another Winnie the Pooh fan! I lol’d when you said A.A. Milne!
