That have her own husband and want to sleep with another woman husband and that didn't work out so she started to spread rumors about man cheating that weren't true and end up sleeping with someone else
I do like how the woman does get her karma by getting not only divorced and paid the price for it. Though the idea of her sleeping with everyone in the apartment building to gather information would be highly likely since she was often having flings, so it only makes the most sense to do so. Another point would be that most of the residents in the building were also too quick to jump onto the rumor of cheating that they didn't really get the time to notice it, making me think that they were not all that good themselves, giving them a small break due to everyone at least giving the family something as sorry for believing such a thing anyway.
The cheaters are always trying to destroy someone else's relationship when they are the ones who are cheating 🤬😡😡🤬
I find it wholesome how it was revealed that Yuji dotes on his daughter and talks about his love for his wife. Idk how the other coworkers (except for Ami’s husband) would believe such rumors when it’s obvious how loyal Yuji is. And good thing Yuuichi avoid Ami.
If that was me even if things finally been settled i will move out of the neighbor as well. Say what you want but i would not have those who believe a false rumor over fact.
I believe that Ami calling Yuji a cheater is form of Projection
I don't know the details on how it works but from what I've heard if someone calls a somebody a cheater who isn't cheating, odds are they themselves are a cheater
You got it correct. They project their guilt on to others as a way to take off the pressure and delude themselves into thinking they did nothing wrong.
The moral is,"loose lips, sink ships". I hope people who like to gossip watch this video.

Spreading a rumor about OP's Husband cheating on her only to find out that Ami WAS the one cheating on her Husband. And all because she saw someone that looked like OP's Husband which she decided to have an affair with him. My guess she did that out of spite when Yuji's Brother turned her down.
A real friend would never spread rumors about their friend husband

The conversation AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RUMORS should have sounded something like this:
Oh I’m so sorry your husband is cheating, you can talk to me.
My husband is not cheating. The woman thought she saw my husband near some shady love motels( lower voice) , why she was near shady hotels I don’t know, BUT since my husband was OUT OF TOWN WITH WORK COLLEAGUES I’m surprised she would SLANDER MY HUSBANDS NAME to ppl. I think I will have to file charges for this if it continues. You’ll be my witness right? Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Please let me know how many ppl she is spreading this lie to so I can take their names. :)

It’s also a good thing he rejected Ami, because she lied that she was single to try to make him sleep with her. If he did sleep with her under the false impression that she was single, he could’ve sued her for lying about her marital status to have an affair with him.

Um I kinda don't like ending. "Keeping the peace" is not as important as letting the person being cheated on to be kept in the dark. It's ok for them because they are in the clear but the couples who were already are tricked are remained ignorant of the affair partner's infidelity.
I do get where you're going with it, but the issue then becomes what will the fallout do to everyone else in the building, since the woman managed to get everyone's info like that because of a possible cause such as cheating, which they just only can guess without much proof. They're going with it since there isn't much that they can do without any more info then just some theories.
She didn’t have any real evidence though, and she was completely wrong. If it was only the wife she told that might be one thing, but she was just gossiping to everyone about it. If it’s really coming from a good place, you wouldn’t involve other people like that. That woman just wanted to stir up trouble.

Yup. She refused to stop even when after being told to. Her guilt of not being caught was so strong that she projected it on to others.
