Great interview. It's great that John just lets Alain talk.
Alain is such a lovely man, humble for such a talented writer and musician.

Great interview. As I'm an old mate of Boz Boorer's, I had the pleasure of Alain's company in America a couple of times. Sweet man with a wonderful sense of humour. No doubt that Morrissey didnae treat him as well as he should have, but then, who does Morrissey treat well? Cheers, John. Like your channel.

Alain is a top lad and I'm delighted he is back writing with Moz 🖤

Unfortunately, he is no longer a part of Morrissey's band. I really wonder what is going on in the Morrissey camp with all the recent changes.

Superb! Been a fan of Alain's since the 90s. His songwriting is incredibly diverse (check out the brilliance of tracks such as Life is a Pigsty, The Never Played Symphonies, and what may be Morrissey's greatest solo track ever -- Nobody Loves Us). Can film soundtracks be far off?

Brilliant stuff again John. Really interesting plotting the Moz band through time with Alain.

The METEORS were my band, got to see them about 30 times! even got the name tattooed on my arm "wrecking crew" has been my ring tone for years
Loved this interview Alain wrote the best of Morrissey's stuff, absolutely love his work and the lockdown sessions were brilliant

AW! You probably won’t see this. ‘Zebedee’ from Dingwalls days here. About to go into your Palladium show tonight with Moz. Have a great one. Am running a new London venue called Here now.

Punk rock owed so much to Eddie Cochran. I was on Blackpool front when I found out Elvis had died!

Talking about the Toy Dolls, remember Nellie the Elephant when it came out, but a mate played me some of their stuff from the nineties on. Wow, they're incredible, and yes, phenomenal guitarist.

I think a lot of the problems are AI. The further we get into technology and the distraction of social media, is taking the attention away from kids getting into music and learning an instrument. There is no discipline in it.
