its in the sale on steam for £0.69 for the trilogy (this one with all 3 games im guessing) so just checking out some reviews to see if its worth getting, gna take a look at a few more reviews first, good video mate

2160 has a somewhat simplified damage system with hard counters. For example, ED tank cannons are murderously effective against ground vehicles but do next to no damage against buildings (the weapon's description says that it's because the shells have no explosive payload), unlike the Kruschevs' destructiveness in 2150. 2160 also introduces infantry into the equation, though only massed anti-tank infantry has any value and even they die in droves from area of effect weapons like LC sonic cannons. Possibly the best thing, however, is that 2160 gives even more customization with selectable engines (boosting either speed or shield regeneration), armor (with option to sacrifice protection against kinetic weapons for extra protection against energy weapons) and self-repair instead of shields.
Absolutely not dead, EarthNet is still operational albeit it rarely used, most of us use GameRanger for its simplicity (ports). Suggest you join us all on discord. See my other post for the link.

Well, actually, I think one of the fractions could develop a weather control station so you could control the weather to some extent ;]

thanks! I'd say for that much it's worth it. Even if you don't do the campaigns, skirmishes are fun for hours.

I've only played 2150. So my recommendation lays there. You'll loose many hours :)

This one for sure. 2160 is really different than most rts I didn't like it. 2150 is amazing massive battles and sick units
Multiplayer mode still working ?
i think when they shut down all of the GameSpy servers that pretty much killed the multiplayer. there may still be some private ones out there though.
