    The skill bam uses is reverse flow control that stops the person/object from moving. He learned it from Quant in season 1.

    It's the same technique he used in season 1 to freeze Hoh (the horned guy who stabbed himself with the knife) and the redhead ranker. The anime must love Dio because they made it look like za warudo!
    It's this scene in the anime in season 1: th-cam.com/video/xr6i_xi86yU/w-d-xo.html

    Viole vs Love was a real dissappointment, they cut a lot from their 2nd round and even parts that they animated were so underwhelming. If anime cant even adapt fights normally then my hope just crushed😢Well cant wait for your reading streams so that you can compare

    • @DrJaceAttorney

      yeah the animation isn't really giving at this current moment, I'm hoping they're saving it for some bigger fights later, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat disappointed with how quickly the fights have been going

    I really liked episode 3, there were scenes that were cut or not adapted in the anime, but it can be forgiven as they are things that do not add much to the story honestly. They do this so it doesn't feel TOO slow this arc, because it is in the Manhwa. It's much more digestible for new people watching the series for the first time.👍🏻

      I think for now I can enjoy the episode/season for what it is, and then pick up Season 2 of the manhwa so I can get the full context on certain scenes

    The "za warudo" (the world) power Viole uses is a rather widespread use of shinsu among rankers (like Quant). For example Bam learned this technique imitating Quant in season 1. It's not that Viole stops time though. He merely stops his enemies from moving.

    • @DrJaceAttorney

      That makes sense then, if he were to stop everything around him it would be kinda too OP. But I can see the limitations if he's just stopping the person in front of him

      @@DrJaceAttorney No. Bam can stop everything around him.... This include enemy's shinsu power. In the comic, Yihwa's flames actually filled up the entire room. It was very big. The flames wasn't supposed to be off, it's supposed to be like ""frozen in time"" effect.
      But very glad they keep this Baam's power in the anime because it is important and will be used in a lot of fights scenes.
      But this skill doesn't work all the time. It only works against people who are weaker than Baam as the user of that skill / technique.

    • @Nightdreaux22647

      @@DrJaceAttorney the anime staff didn't really understand that skill of Baam freezing/stopping people, objects and shinsu energy around him.
      That's why the visual effect in this episode 3 of Season 2 was different than Season 1. In season 1, the skill Baam copied from Quant (red hair ranker) looks like water bubble. But in season 2 it looks like Baam stopping time.
      It is an overpowered skill. But only works against weak people. Because there is something called [Shinsu Resistance], if you look back into Season 1, Baam didn't get pushed back by Leroro's shinsu wall right?? This is because Baam's shinsu resistance is so high. It's like Baam has invisible defensive shield. Basically, you cannot hurt someone powerful than you. Because your shinsu power output is smaller than your enemy.
      I can understand why anime staff didn't understand about this skill, since it doesn't really have ""effect visualization"" in the comic either. We get confirmation about that specific freezing skill through texts, narration, or characters conversation. It lacks visual effect in the comic.

      @@DrJaceAttorney TOG have many confusing fights scenes. And if somebody will animate that scene without proper understanding of TOG world building, it's gonna be ruined.
      The anime staff comprehension skill will be put to the test.
      The anime made Yihwa's flames smaller because they probably think it doesn't make sense for Baam to also getting caught in flames and burned up inside the fire.
      But that's literally the point. Baam has HIGH SHINSU RESISTANCE.... It's literally like an invisible shield or body armor.
      So Baam is supposed to also get burned in flames.... but he will not get hurt by Yihwa's flames at all (which is also shinsu with nature element properties)

      I think they used the scenes he remembers more ahead here to cut some parts that arent of much importance and decided to use that scenes here to give him more deep and reason to be worried about Miseng

    A lot of people be gonna say like they skipped a lot but i feel like they are just some characters thought process in the test as well as some card game scenes which a lot of anime watchers don't care about and they just want to see the old cast from what i am gathering so imo this ep needs to be rushed like this to make the pacing in ep 4 makes sense to end on cliffhanger

    • @DrJaceAttorney
      @DrJaceAttorney  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Idk how I feel with the concept of "we have to rush this so that this happens in a later episode." At least for purposes of an adaptation, I feel like that may not be the best way to go about things

  • @alexanderliew3415

    They skipped a LOT of scenes from the Webtoon. The pacing of episode 3 is rushed and kinda trash, not gonna lie. I'm someone who rarely criticize the ToG anime and even defend it. But episode 3 is a let down in my opinion.

    • @DrJaceAttorney
      @DrJaceAttorney  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe you man lol. When I was streaming my Season 1 read, people were telling me that the anime often skipped a lot of the game rule explaining and smaller moments to quickly get to the big fights. I def feel that ToG works best when they let these smaller moments simmer
