This fellow is simply a well versed, well read, studied and meticulous person. I think he's gracious to share the knowledge and insight he has honestly gleaned in his lifetime (many things he didn't have to share because most people won't have patience, focus or selflessness enough to get it). The information he's sharing isn't gathered by being superficial, impatient and disrespectful. The fact that there's only 82 thumbs up out of 9,527 views leads me to believe that most viewers went with their first impressions (which I'm thankful I didn't do).
This is probably the most in-depth and rich seminar I've watched yet! Like graduate photography school...beyond camera features and into planning and executing artistic concepts. VERY well done!
Sometimes there are are small things that change our lives: maybe a great book, maybe a different movie... maybe a video like this one. Thank you so much Paul; for the video, for your work and for the all epistemological concept.
To each his own. I just believe that images should be captured not composited in a computer. I cannot support these ideals for the same reason. some of the best images I've seen and IMHO best photographers I know of, get it right in the camera. to me, this is not what photography is about, nor should these be considered photographs. lets just call them computer designs.
This bloke is so in love with himself. There's no content to his presentation at all. It's just 'here is a window on my life - enjoy'. Sorry, I'd rather watch paint dry.

I love this guy. Easily the most insightful talk on this Chanel.

Love this video. I also love how the entire front 3 rows were apparantly bussed in from the local nursery home.
Simply Amazing, not just a photographer, but an artist!!! I have so much to learn..
Can not wait for the second part..
Superb, extraordinary. Pure art + photography, something very rare.
Very inspiring video! Now I know I'm the right path. Thanks for sharing!
Best BHPhoto event, a modern view about photography

You don't have to use over-the-top 'artsy' English to be an artist. Just make good art and we'll believe you.

Obviously you're just not listening.
