- Let's take a look at every character race shown thus far for Light No Fire! Over 10 playable character races have been shown and some of them were hidden in brief flashes during the newest trailer.
The race you thought was a lion was a polar bear, and on top of that, he had an ice sword! The guy with the ears was a fawn, a young deer.
When he showed the still image and he said "lion" I was like wtf??? 😂
I hope the different races have their own regions specific to them, like kingdoms with their own territories, cultural differences and race specific traits.
i REALLY hope they have lizardfolk 😭
Yes please 🦎🦎🦎🦎
Elder Scrolls Online has those. They're great.
Yes I’m a sucker for reptile races.
Definitely choosing the rabbit race, and naming my character Basil Stag Hare, finally my redwall itch can be somewhat scratched
I saw a skeleton character building a house so maybe some sort of undead race
if that world is really just held together by magic, then why not a playable undead race ?! might be stronger at night & weaker by day ;)
Agree on the fox. Look close it has a foxtail as well.
I'd love a Lynx race so much.
Either frog or wolf. But probably frog.
Not sure what I'd pick. I'd have to know all the races as well as all the customisation options. But at the moment, in regards to pure looks, I'm leaning towards either a Fox or a Wolf.
They better add redpandas
I had the same exact thought!
the far left on second slide looks like a polar bear
I hope there will be female characters this time
The last game wasn't called Yes Women's Land so who knows 😅
Honey badger
No not honey badger, it's a Europian badger very common in England, makes sence since Hello Games is an English company.
frog fo sho
1:08 bottom right looks like an otter.
that "lion" in the beginning was definetly a polar bear & the one with the torch at 4:10 looks more like a raccoon then a wolf tbh!
and honestly?! if they *DONT* add racial traits, based on the "natural habitat" of these species, then they would be really dropping the ball! (except if they are all "humans" that are just transformed like the Beastfallen in "Grimoire of Zero", which would be kinda disappointing....)
For earth size terrain, I bet will insane amount of different races and they will continue to add more trough time
a month ago?! everything for light no fires been a MONTH ago hah
these guys are good with keeping things from being leaked i guess small teams are good with that
I WANNA PLAY THE DARN GAME!!! lol
I would be the deer race
i hope you can play as some reptilian
Mostly mammals
It will be cool if these are not only visual differences but each racial type has its strengths and weaknesses.
If there are racial differences, I will pick a race for the skill I like. If there is no difference, I'm happy to be a human.
There are indeed many different races that diversify the world. However, if choosing a character only boils down to cosmetic appearance and nothing more, I think most people will choose the race that offers more customization. It would be interesting if the choice of race influenced certain aspects, such as underwater breathing, higher jumping, speed, better climbing, great strength, and so on. Another question arises: will there be not only buffs but debuffs as well? For example, being slower, weaker, and the like. Currently, it's unknown how deep the RPG mechanics will be, or if everything is focused solely on exploring the world, with the variety of races intended for diversification. Perhaps the game's developers are applying procedural generation not only to the terrain but also to items and characters, including NPC models. For instance, one basic torso model might have several possible heads and legs models, along with various textures assigned to it. In that case, a great variety could be achieved.
I think these will be categorised and then you can change some of its appearance.. Kinda like how they did with the "Popori" in Tera. Them having different abilities depending on their type would be kinda interesting.
I'd probably got with being a foxy fox hehe or wolf, idk yet. I'm not good with too many choices.
Guy with the bow . Kangaroo. I’m thinking
The only thing I hope for this game is that mages are playable
If you slow down one of the scenes that jump on screen for a second there is a guy with a staff. On the red like area.
Guy on building is a pig, I think. The one with the ears that people think is an elf, might be a doe. A lady deer has no horns. We have seen a human, so maybe there is elves?
Lion isn't a lion, the size of the hands give it away a bit and there are no cat-like claws for finger nails also the ears point to more of another type of mammal entirely one that is furry of course but the ears don't match lions tigers or bears. Oh my.
Sly cooper here i come...
Second lol
Fweeeeeedddyyyyyyy!❤
You missed a yellow character on the left who was aiming in the scene with the person with the doe ears, the rabbit and the human, he was yellow headed somehow and it almost appeared like he was avian.
It seems like that's a hood, judging from other stuff in the trailer + the cloak they're wearing
