I think Anthony Black inserted into the starting lineup will help in many ways. 1) Taking Banchero, Wagner, and Suggs off the ball will allow them to get easier looks in their spots when they catch the ball instead of having to work hard off the dribble for it. 2) Black can be the point of attack defender alleviating Suggs of this responsibility allowing him to use his energy for being more of a shooter/scorer. 3) Black's ability to rebound will allow the Magic to get out into transition more creating easy offense, mitigating the need for half-court play, and creating mismatches to be exploited by a PG who knows to looks for it.

Franz is a solid player if he becomes a better shooter he becomes a great player. They need to realistically sign monk and maybe Claxton to sold their shooting and rim presence. They play great defense and have young guys they need to to develop within with their shooting. Franz Anthony Issac Black have to become much better shooters. Paolo needs to be a better shooter but not fall in love with it like Tatum
Franz will extend. He will accept a family discount, as the Magic have been super kind of extending Mo to 16 mil contract. The Magic team is different, they’ll figure it out.. They are extending Franz 25-30 mil per Suggs 18-25 ish mil Fultz veteran minimum and they will go out and hopefully sign Monk and Claxton hear me out. shooting has been an issue, but also post game of our Center WCJ. He can’t post up a Guard on all those mismatches. Wait for that Banchero and Claxton pick and roll to which Claxton seals the guard for the easy hook shot. They will draft one Da Silva or Salaun and develop the player like Jett. Jett will have a bigger role next season. rotation PG: Suggs, AB SG: Monk, Cole SF: Franz, Isaac, Jett, Houstan PF: Banchero, M. Wagner, Salaun C: Claxton, WCJ, Bitadze
Why the heck did we not play Goga? Agree being very hesitant with a paul george- not gonna lead to a championship. We obviously need shooting, and I think our backcourt defense is overrated (Donovan mitchell and garland got whatever they wanted). Suggs I feel is our heart, offense is improving. Also, so agree about Franz not deserving a max contract (not even close). Not reliable enough.
Ideal world, best trade options (over booker) at the guard position would have to be 1. Dejounte Murray 2. Lamelo Ball 3. Cj McCollum scoring, playmaking, length and as for Cj a veteran presence
This team desperately needs an offensive sharp shooter. One that plays off ball but can facilitate it at least somewhat. Basically a Bridges or Anunoby type. Someone who also doesnt make the team defemse worse. But not necessarily as good as the guys i mentioned above. On top of that, Franz stayed the same as year before. Maybe even regressed slightly. Lost his 3 point shot. He HAS to improve by 15% next season across many areas plus a trade to get someone else to help their offense be spaced somewhat. If they do that, they can be a top 3 seed next season.
I can bet you money the Magic don’t overpay on Klay and Tyus Jones. It’s just not their philosophy to bring those guys on. CLAXTON and MONK and start to develop the guys who didn’t get pt in the playoffs

GO MAGIC, the future is blinding!
Nic Claxton and Tyus Jones signed
Starting 5 would be Claxton, Paolo, Franz, Suggs, and Jones
Bench 5 would be Carter, Issac, Jett, Cole, and AB
Franz and Suggs will be definitely improve their shooting over the summer and Paolo will continue to grow into a Lebron type of dominance
Wouldn't go get PG. Go get two or three three and D guys for $20mil each
You have to take into account that Wagner, Suggs, and Banchero have extensions coming up the following season. That means, they'll be a 2nd Apron team...
@@brandoni241Suggs and Wagner don’t look like quality starters right now
@@TrillaDC they are better than what's on the market. Franz has a down shooting year from 3, but that doesn't mean he can't get back to 35%. Plus, he is one of the few players on the team that can create offense. Suggs is one of the best 3 and D guards in the league. Teams look for players like him. Is Malik Monk a better option than Suggs? Is an aging DeMar DeRozan better than Franz (although, I think he would be a good fit from a playmaking standpoint)?
@@TrillaDCwhat are you talking about
Love this Orlando Magic team! #5 is awesome 👍💙🖤💙
Monk, Hartenstein, Klay (for cheap), Hield, Tyus. Those need to be the focuses.
Nic Claxton and Malik Monk🙏🏿✊🏿🏀
they need to develop players too
Magic needs some shooting maybe they could go after Buddy Hield or trade for a Jordan Clarkson.
They could also try to see what the Hawks are offering to give up for either Trae Young or Dejonte Murray.
Murray would probably be the better option because he a better defender
But they need a point guard in a worst way possible still the future is bright for them
To get out of the first round I want to trade any of - Anthony, Fultz, and the 2 Wagners, and maybe even Isaac for - a defensive big and an experienced point guard.
Guards - Tyus Jones, DMurray (unlikely), BBrown (unlikely), any Holiday brother
Bigs - Draymond (yeah I said it), Claxton (unlikely), BClarke, Walker Kessler, JGrant, TMurphyIII (unlikely)
PG IS A TRAP
Improve the bench
Get some veterans and some 3 point shooters
Front office needs to get busy. Their lack of activity at the trade deadline was concerning.
Part of the plan - had to be patient
Magic should sign CP3. Great mentor for these young guys
Bench wise? Sure!
KCP...veteran, 2 rings, teach the young guns
Actually a good idea but I doubt he would leave Denver
@@Nukemall305
I suspect there will be changes in Denver next year and the Magic have cap space to afford a veteran, additionally KCP shoots the 3 ball which the Magic need...
‘3 months you got hurricanes and stuff coming through’
I mean 😂
9:07 hes still a 7 footer averaging 20pts/game. someone will pay him the max if not the magic
Franz is absolutely getting a max
At first they was saying MPJ was a Generational talent before his Rookie Draft and would have been the #1 pick in the draft if it wasn’t for the Back injury. Now he’s not a Max Player is Nuts. Denver wouldn’t be Champions if it wasn’t for him 😂
Proud of my bois! We really need a scoring PG. Dejounte Murry would be nice.
They should have got OG. Brandon Ingram would be a great 1A to PB.
I would love to see a backcourt of Jalen Suggs & Buddy Heild. And get a 3&D in either Jimmy Butler or Demar DeRozan. They have size they need veteran's. I would love to see Anthony Black progress next season.
HAHAHAHA you’re dumb.
nah aint no way you called Jimmy and Demar “3&D” guys lmao
Franz is a solid player if he becomes a better shooter he becomes a great player. They need to realistically sign monk and maybe Claxton to sold their shooting and rim presence. They play great defense and have young guys they need to to develop within with their shooting. Franz Anthony Issac Black have to become much better shooters. Paolo needs to be a better shooter but not fall in love with it like Tatum
Could not be prouder of this team. Our core is 22 and under. Call me crazy but AB is the next Haliburton. Let's get some pieces.
I like your take on the team. If you listen to Magic fans they think Franz is Luka good
Franz will extend. He will accept a family discount, as the Magic have been super kind of extending Mo to 16 mil contract.
The Magic team is different, they’ll figure it out..
They are extending
Franz 25-30 mil per
Suggs 18-25 ish mil
Fultz veteran minimum
and they will go out and hopefully sign
Monk and Claxton
hear me out. shooting has been an issue, but also post game of our Center WCJ. He can’t post up a Guard on all those mismatches. Wait for that Banchero and Claxton pick and roll to which Claxton seals the guard for the easy hook shot.
They will draft one Da Silva or Salaun and develop the player like Jett. Jett will have a bigger role next season.
rotation
PG: Suggs, AB
SG: Monk, Cole
SF: Franz, Isaac, Jett, Houstan
PF: Banchero, M. Wagner, Salaun
C: Claxton, WCJ, Bitadze
Why the heck did we not play Goga? Agree being very hesitant with a paul george- not gonna lead to a championship. We obviously need shooting, and I think our backcourt defense is overrated (Donovan mitchell and garland got whatever they wanted). Suggs I feel is our heart, offense is improving. Also, so agree about Franz not deserving a max contract (not even close). Not reliable enough.
This guy is really the Undertaker of the NBA
Ideal world, best trade options (over booker) at the guard position would have to be
1. Dejounte Murray
2. Lamelo Ball
3. Cj McCollum
scoring, playmaking, length and as for Cj a veteran presence
Dejounte Murray was my first thought. I like him best of all because he's the most realistic grab for them, he plays defense, and he's not expensive.
@@Davivd2 dejounte don't get a long with banchero. So he ain't coming
Lamelo???? That guy is overrated.
@@KK-pm7ud uhhh no his team is cheeks and hes been injured but when healthy hes a top 10 pg
@@brab1242 He's not a top 10 PG. I wouldn't want him on my time. He's as useful as DeAngelo Russel.
Orlando should do everything to get Herro… he is 24 and exactly what they need…
20.8 pts 41.2% from 3, 4.3 assists
Not on board with this at all lmao
I never thought of that. He'd help out shooting but I think we need a vet who can shoot
Yea hell be great wearing street clothes in the bench. Morale support! Lol
No.
everyone on this current team plays hard on defense, he changes their identity unfortunately
They need a veteran presence it’s all good to be young but you need older pieces to compete
“KCP not really a shooter”Excuse me what??? I’ll take that man next to Suggs!!
He's so streaky, and when his shot isn't dropping he losses motivation and his defense falls off too.
They at the same spot as OKC n Minnesota was last year. They goin to the ecf next year
Let’s go Magic
Cp3 can get this team to the top and don’t have to spend much either
Franz not a Max guy but can be tough for front office. Every team can pay 2.
Title run 2027! Go Magic! 💙🖤🤍
Magic need a strong shooter and minimize the turn overs. They can go extremely far next year
The weather in Florida in unbearable for 6 months out of the year
You're tripping lol
This team desperately needs an offensive sharp shooter. One that plays off ball but can facilitate it at least somewhat. Basically a Bridges or Anunoby type. Someone who also doesnt make the team defemse worse. But not necessarily as good as the guys i mentioned above. On top of that, Franz stayed the same as year before. Maybe even regressed slightly. Lost his 3 point shot. He HAS to improve by 15% next season across many areas plus a trade to get someone else to help their offense be spaced somewhat. If they do that, they can be a top 3 seed next season.
Try and trade for Korey Kispert knock down shooter you don't have to break the bank for
Him and Suggs played at Gonzaga together 👀
Ranchero will get a max contract
They just need better guards or better guard play.
Wagner was way more efficient his first two years. He definitively could be a future all star
Sign Malik Monk, Kelly Oubre, Gary Trent jr, Luke Kennard or Gordon Hayward, don’t sign Klay. He’s not who he was.
Wanting Hayward but not Klay a swerve I wasn’t expecting
Klay is 34 and made $40 million last season. No thanks. They have Caleb Houston who can throw up 3’s all day. Why sign Klay?
I like Luke Kennard🤌🏾
Pass on Hayward too, but the rest would be good options.
Ourbe isn't going to be cheap
I can bet you money the Magic don’t overpay on Klay and Tyus Jones. It’s just not their philosophy to bring those guys on. CLAXTON and MONK and start to develop the guys who didn’t get pt in the playoffs
Those Franz stats... Thats terrible. I Hope he improves alot. Love the dude
It was evident end of last season; he knows there’s room for growth lol
Spurs next
