Definitely recommend games like Fire Emblem, Tactics Ogre, and Triangle Strategy too for that turn based tactical gameplay. As long as you don't mind the anime style
I really wish we had something like Wizardry online's style of dungeon exploration with party building, traps and obstacles that require certain classes and stat checks to attempt to pass. Something that feels like Frieren or Lodoss War levels of adventuring. Gotta love treasure chests that might be mimics lol oh and doppelgangers that copy players or party member abilities with more aggressive stats. Ughh I long for the perfect Fantasy rpg. Preferable made by Asian developers for that beautiful style of design they use.
Completed Divinity 2 on PC many times. This list is giving me a complex! Out of Baldurs Gate 1&2, Torments, Neverwinter Nights or Pillars, which would you say was best for immersion, story, customisation and not requiring internet?
I’m assuming there’s no games on the Switch where despite deep seeded hatred you can still sleep with anyone of any race no matter what and also get bashed around for suggesting these refugees suck and BG folk should be taken care of. Good RPG though, I suppose.

All the games you mentioned were not developed for Switch, they were developed years before the Switch ever exist. Aspecially the first 6 games. All of these games were developed for PC only first. Just later they ported to Switch just to have a bigger market. But they are not native Switch games at all.

Considering the fact that it struggles on the Steam Deck, there's no way realistically that it could be made to work on the Switch.
No kidding! you would need the Next switch to be a power house to even consider porting.

I would advice against getting Pillars of Eternity on Switch. The Switch port is gamebreakingly buggy and abandoned by the devs.
