while she is young and shows a sort of promise in ballet, I dont think that kids should compete variations that require a certain skill level either technical or emotional (in this case going en pointe) that they haven't reached yet. And its okay to not be there yet! Its something earned through years of hard work! She and other young dancers will get there eventually, but they have to pay their dues like everyone else. Its disrespectful to the choreography and to other dancers that ACTUALLY DO IT completely.
