Thanks Tyler for including me in the video. I think it is super important for all anglers to stick together. It doesn't matter if you are chasing bluegill with worms or tossing a $700 glide bait out of a 110k boat. We all love the outdoors and we are on the same team. It doesn't matter what species you prefer or how you choose to target them. It doesn't matter if you are planning to feed the family or strictly catch and release. Get out on the water and get kiddos out on the water. Let's pass on this love we have for the outdoors and our water ways.
I don't get it. Why in the world would live bait be considered cheating??? If we want to talk about cheating, let's talk about fish finders and live scope!
Have caught many big fish on live bait and have also caught big fish on artificial lures. Although artificial lures are a lot more fun and entertaining, your almost guaranteed to catch fish on live bait. Love your videos Tyler. Keep it up God loves you.
This is CRAZY but I just went on a guided trip with Caleb 2 weeks ago on Chickamauga 😂 dudes a stud…highly recommend if you’re looking for a guided trip out here! Caught a bunch of 3-4lbs on live shad and a 25lb blue catfish 🎣
Great video Tyler. I was just having a discussion with a few people about this same topic earlier today. Being able to manipulate your lure can sometimes trigger fish to bite that won't eat live bait, and other times its the other way around. Cool to see C-Bass (Caleb)on here too. Maybe start a series where you have conversations with different guides around the country. God bless you brother.
Hey Tyler, can you start a Tyler's Holiday Special? For example, on Christmas( or any other day) since it's cold out and bass fishing has stopped you could do a pike and musky video with NASPELTZ. Just an idea
great video again tyler, i appreciate you really looking into the live bait side of fishing, as ive never really looked at it as a viable option for me
Please come to South Africa 🇿🇦 If you think florida bass are big, you have no idea. Africa is known for wildlife, and the game fish are no exception, they are absolute TROPHY FISH🎉🎉🎉
As a kid i would chop up the artificial worms into small chunks and catch 5+ fish with each chunk i have never noticed a difference between real worms and those fake ones and the fish don't either 😂 but imo id rather buy a bag of the fake worms and get 100s of fish out of it than buy a can of worms for 5$ and catch 20 fish fake bait doesnt need to be replaced as often The funniest part is i still have those bags of fake bait aswell probably 10 years later and i could still go catch fish with them
I don’t usually use live bait. And I only rarely use it when I’m fishing for stripers. I can catch those fish with artificial lures. Mud suckers cost $3 each if they die their useless and if you catch a fish their dead and if you store them too long they die also. I can catch multiple fish on a lures all day long. I guess I’m cheap and bait feels like a waste to me.
Lol Tyler I have been a huge fan of yours, lol and I am just throwing it out there ... what is that huge bulky ring you have on and can we get a link to that too lmao...
The fact this is the only decent vid on youtube discussing this topic and it only having 10k views really shows the lack of demand for stimulating conversations in the fishing scene. I dont know if that just implies average fishermen are dense, apathetic or just dont use youtube, but it’s definitely an untapped market
@@TylersReelFishing well if most dont use the search bar that definitely leans towards the dense category if all they do is mindlessly scroll and click on videos in their recommended, thats what i call the modern american attention span, AKA “tiktok brain”
Baby bluegill catches the big boys. Only do it every once in a while. But look at Roland Martin one of the og bass guys. N he fishes, with shinners all the time. But what ever floats ur boat. Also I tried factor n got ripped. Great sponsor.
I like to take artificial bait with me to the bank and as I'm using my lures I'll check any creeks or shallow areas for crawdads and this technique works pretty well for me
I got a little red wagon I tote my four year old son around in with our tacklebox and bait. Four pvc pipes rigged up as rod holders with zip ties. Good stuff.
Hey Tyler i have a question. What's That clicker thing you put on your hat to mark catches and log them i know there's and app for it and everything i just can't remember the name of it all.
In my opinion I like artificial bait. I know a stick worm will shimmy on the way down. A crank bait has a certain wobble. There is no way to manipulate live bait. I also use scent on my artificial lures I think it helps blur the line between artificial and live bait enough to entice a bite, but I have not landed an 8-10 pounder yet so I could be wrong.
Use code TRF50 to get 50% off your first Factor box at bit.ly/3ROeuV5
Yes sir
Food looks great! Gonna try it out.
I have not used live bait for awhile now It's just because i get a different satisfaction knowing I trick a fish into biting an artificial lure 😊

Thanks for your input my friend! Glad to have ya on the channel

FIshing is FIshing - At the end of the day, you just want to land something for any age.
I don't even know why using live or cut bait would be considered cheating. Cheating is fishing with dynamite.
Have caught many big fish on live bait and have also caught big fish on artificial lures. Although artificial lures are a lot more fun and entertaining, your almost guaranteed to catch fish on live bait. Love your videos Tyler. Keep it up God loves you.
Poor people who don’t have bass boats and who actually fish for supper almost always use live bait.
Good thing my channel is for everybody!

Always happy to see a new video! Thanks for all your hard work, and God bless everyone!
Another awesome video Tyler!
Question for you guys, where are you guys getting your live worms ?
Nowadays, the backyard, bait shop, Walmart, convenient stores, and online. Good luck.

For bass fishing live bait is cheating .. to me
But I personally don’t care what anybody fishes with .. just have fun and catch fish 😂
We used live bait the other day after months throwing lures... sometimes fun to get back to bobber and live bait fishing.
just couldnt catch any blue gill or bass with worms and bread today
I like live bait for catfish and artificial for bass!
Do bass corner bait fish in coves and corners 2 weeks before winter and will go after any fast lures? And if so how do I know when that is.
Yes especially now
Live bait is for lazy people and hoping to catch big fish like me 😂
Lol Tyler I have been a huge fan of yours, lol and I am just throwing it out there ... what is that huge bulky ring you have on and can we get a link to that too lmao...
Probably his high school ring
I've had 20-25 hits on my topwater popping booyah frog and have only landed ONE fish. Is their another popping frog brand that has good hookup ratios?
Booyah is literally the softest frog therefore should have a great hookup. 🤔Maybe try checking your hooks/gear or just set hook harder.
My opinion is Live bait! Can’t go wrong especially saltwater. But artificial is awesome for freshwater.
Oh you caught a big fish on live bait ? ( Not impressed ) 😆 Don't count

what should i use for smaller bass like 10 - 16 inch bass i cant cet any to bite my lures
In line spinner
@@TylersReelFishing alright ill try thanks man big fan of your channel watched almost all your videos

Do you still use the kvd quantum reel? I send a short a while back and I just got a kvd baitcaster reel and I’m looking for a review 🤔👀
I’ve never used a KVD quantum reel. I’m with Lew’s
Oh 😂
Artificial for fun, live or cut bait for the bigs. Also, FW-mostly artificial, SW-mostly live or cut.
Definitely depends on the species. Some fish just like bait more than artificials (looking at you, catfish and carp).
For thousands of years people fished with live bait or cut bait.. it amazes me that people made it a question of if live bait is “cheating” in fishing
“I’m probably ADD who knows” lol same bro but artificials are also just way more fun
I like to take artificial bait with me to the bank and as I'm using my lures I'll check any creeks or shallow areas for crawdads and this technique works pretty well for me
Nothing beats power bait at the lake(Los Vaqueros)I go to for trout. Yes, you can catch the m on Kastmasters but it is not as effective
I got a little red wagon I tote my four year old son around in with our tacklebox and bait. Four pvc pipes rigged up as rod holders with zip ties.
Good stuff.
In one of your videos you said your mother had gotten you a book on aquatic plants. Do you know where she got it from? I would love to get one.
I use both. Especially if I just want a bite I go live bait. I have better luck with trout on artificial and small mouth.
I’m the first
Hey Tyler i have a question. What's That clicker thing you put on your hat to mark catches and log them i know there's and app for it and everything i just can't remember the name of it all.
It’s a product that is no longer in business
Imagine being used as live bait by a giant creature. Heck of a way to go😢😂
Awesome video idea, can you do does color matter or scents effectiveness on baits for an idea of your next video.
👍

live bait moves naturally on its own but I feel you.
Hey Tyler u have a video of showing me how to rig a live minnow ? I tried to search for it but can’t find it
I do not
Thoughts on frozen bait?
This video would have helped me out a lot a couple of months ago when I started fishing! Thank you!
It can help ya now!
i swear i saw one of your crankbaits move when u shaked the box 👀
😳
Great video
😁 let's go
THANKS FOR THAT INFO ❤
Great tips
