The piping is permanently attached to the manifold. Do you mean you are having a hard time unscrewing the bottom plastic nut from the manifold piping inside the main housing? Are you trying to remove the entire filter system with manifold out of the housing?
Great video! My second to end grid has slipped, knocking my last grid off the base. Can I un tighten , wing nut a little bit, and move it back in its slot, so my last one can go in its slot. Or do I have to remove whole thing?
I have searched everywhere to replace my Grid Filters. Great video. I will be working on mine this week as I have ordered mine from Amazon. Do the Grids snap in place?
The grids have a male connector that slide into the female connector on the manifold. The fit is snug. The other end of the grids fit into channels on the bracket.
