This video is by far the best video I have seen on troubleshooting AC electrical issues on 2001-2005 7th Gen Honda civics. I read on a forum that the AC needed enough pressure to work, but i didn't know that it could actually prevent the electrical signal from actuating the AC relay. I didn't know that the horn relay and the AC relay could be swapped if the horn works to test the AC relay. I didn't know where the wires were to the AC compressor engagement coil. I didn't know the two contacts under the AC relay to momentarily connect to verify the AC compressor would engage if all other systems were working properly. There were about 3 other things I learned from this video. It is a shame that this video was not part of the play list that has over 100 01-05 Honda Civic videos. So well explained. Simple, clear, and orderly. Thank you so much.
What fuses control the motor for the flaps like from head to windshield to feet to gead and feet my issues are the flaps move i termittenly they work when i disconnect my battery it will work once then no more since its winter i left it on hot
Man, this video was SUPER helpful! I had a bad AC clutch & coil, which I changed out, but it was aftermarket and crapped after 2 days. I got another one, changed it, but still couldn't get the AC to work. I removed it again, bench tested it, and it worked, but wouldn't work when it was installed. This video was super helpful to identify the fuses and the relay. The horn relay trick is genius. Turns out, I had a bad 20 amp fuse that powered the relay (probably blew when the first replacement clutch & coil failed). The mechanic wanted $2300 to change the compressor, evaporator, & condenser (that's more than the car is worth). The aftermarket clutch & coil was $50, and the fuse was $1.
Sir, you are a genius. Thank you so much for helping me avoid a $100 diagnostic to find out I just have a bad relay. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
My blower stopped working. I get the indicator that the AC is on, but the blower won't run in either heat or cool mode. Fuse 14 is good. Is there a separate fuse for the blower?
Hi. Is it normal that fan starts immediately when car is started? it start and stop quite rapid cycle. is this normal or is it some kind of sensor problem. Thanks for these videos.
Thanks. I need help if the A/C it doesn’t work. That’s the cause of my fans are not working. If the rest are ok. Mean lake coolant sensor switch thermostat and relays. Are fine. My fans are not working!!!

This is the simplest best ac diagnostic video I've seen. Great tips like swaping the horn relay and direct connecting with the pliers etc . Thank you!

Thank you so much. I’m glad you’re still publishing content too. Definitely worth a subscribe

What is it doesn’t work . When you switch the AC rely to the horn one
Same
My 20A one is blowing and burning basically. What causes it?
Thanks, but where is that ac wire from the compressor connected to?
Thanks for the video! Very informative and to the point, much appreciated!
Which one is the EPS fuse or relay in the under hood box?
Got to love youtube! Thanks for a very informative video my man. Take care
Thanks man. Super helpful and informational video! 🙌🏼

Don't forget to put cap back on brake fluid reservoir. Watch video carefully when you move from dashboard to under hood.
Edited nevermind I see exhaust manifold too... obviously car is decommissioned.
Super helpful although none of this worked for me 😭😭
This video is very helpful! Thanks
What if that 20A fuse keeps blowing and burning????
If somebody can please help. Small fuse light 15th se keeps blowing out. Checked for bad wiring and nothing :/
You dont actually explain how to tell if something is wrong w the fuse though?
Thank you.
