Here's a great tool for learning openings: chessbook.com/hanging-pawns Chessbook allows you to import and practice your repertoire. It focuses on moves people actually play as well as your mistakes. Connect it to your lichess or chess com accounts to correct the biggest gaps in your repertoire!
Master, I really like this video format, could you do something similar and bring in the Italian opening of a strong player? This video came at a good time, my second weapon in my black repertoire is going to be caro-kan and these ideas simply blew my mind. Very instructive, thank you and brilliant, as always.
A player rated 2000 can hardly make a living playing chess, which is why it can be classified as an amateur, even though 2000 is obviously a very strong ELO. Basically 2000 rated player is an amateur and an expert at the same time.
Regarding black's fear of white's pawn storm (if they castle queenside) in the Tartakower; with the pawn on h5 we are quite safe. If white ever goes for h3 and g4 we can just close the kingside with h4!!
Hi. 23:35, Massiironi game. Doesn't white win playing ...d6 instead of dxc? Black is threatening B on e7 and N on c5. Am I missing something. Doesn't black win a whole piece there?
2nd game is just nonesense by white, the Tartakower variation is quite scary for black from my experience especially after h4 like Gukesh played as you mentioned in the video
1:02:17, Hansen game. After ...c5 Qxb5...cd is the idea? if cd ,then Qxa4 and write is up a pawn and black has lost both a and b pawns and I see not tactics for black that is winning.

Watching these GMs come up with beautiful ideas for openings they rarely play is always entertaining.
Excited to see this video. Loved your Alireza Caro Kann video 👏🙏

Same here
Amateur just means someone is not a professional, it doesn't mean 'bad'
Master,Can U Give Us Video Series About Larsen Attack.
The Fantasy is so tricky that neither the 2500 who played it nor Gukesh understood it 🤣🤣

48:38 I really like that reaction from Stjepan 😂😂😂

Stjepan talking like GM Valsecchi's coach
2450 is not extremely strong?
For us mere mortals, yes. For Gukesh at 2700, no.
But for Stjepan@@mcronrn
