I love your coverage of this watch and why I came to you about 6 months ago when I bought one that had rotor noise when I moved it on my wrist. I've since sent it off and got it back about 3 weeks ago. Turns out it was all ok and just the norm for my particular watch. I ended up having the entire movement serviced just to be sure all was good and to give it some love. By far, this is the favorite in my collection and what I choose to wear everyday. I have the powder coated version and I actually like the patina on it over the pvd coating since it does not chip off like so many others I've seen. Thank you for covering this watch so in depth.

I'm stockpiling them and won't be looking to sell until they go skyward, looking to get max value from the market, not from a viewer of the channel as I am looking to help the viewership. To that end....I recommend hunting every day, you CAN find them for less than 3k. Which variant are you after btw?

@@joeblack6384 happy to. You want the one with "1 Mile" on the rehaut near the 1 o'clock position. English day wheel and Valjoux 7750 movement. You will know the 7750 from the Lemania by looking at the subdial at 12 o'clock. On the 7750, it is a 30 minute counter. One the Lemania it is a 24hr register that is tied to the main time. The Valjoux variants are much cheaper than the Lemania ones, so that is in your favor. Search ebay for keyword "Orfina" or "Porsche Design 7176" and happy hunting!!
Hello. Just came across your video. I have this watch with the Lemania 5100 movement that I inherited from my Dad. Super special to me clearly. It’s running, but has a broken stem, needs a service, and perhaps a light/sympathetic restoration. Any recommendations on an AD or repair shop that would do a good job? Thanks, sir!

In the shop now and was warned that there are plastic parts which if they need replaced (as often they do) it’s crazy $$$.
