I love the fact you give Sans' sprite the similar detail to Papyrus, where his sprite doesn't move much ( or at all in Papyrus' case) since he doesn't have any intention of killing you at this point in the game. The more a monster's sprite moves in a battle, the more killing intent they have
I love the idea of rain falling on your soul and making options blurry and unusable as a way to make it so you can't run away. Sans blocking the waterfall to let you spare him is really cute
