Well, not actually a remix. This seems to be someone recording their own version of the track, then editing the original album version on to it. I expect that the original Out of the Blue multitrack is either unavailable - as no-one has released any real remixes - or lost.
Hi Rebecca - the definition of a remix is "a variant of an original recording (as of a song) made by rearranging or adding to the original." Seems to me like that's what I've done here - yes you are right I've used a studio produced backing track (as the original isolated tracks aren't available) and blended/mixed it with the original - but I've never made any secret of this on all of my "remixes" No worries if you don't like it. I'm just trying to do something a bit different with a fabulous song. The original is always there for us to listen to. Take care
