Kirk doesn't actually play any of the rhythm/riffs in most Metallica songs. James records them all and Kirk's only job is to mess around with the solo, since he can't really keep up with James' riffing. So I'm not sure if you can get the master tracks for each individual guitar, since I'm guessing that they're all amalgamated into one main track.
No, on the blackened tracks available during the solo, the Rhythm track pops in on the vocal track since there's no vocal line going. But..... every vocal track I find they muted that section. So in my mix of Blackened during the solo there's only Drums, Kirk solo, and bass, no rhythm guitar.
Chris Rodriguez hmm that's weird. I haven't actually gone through the available tracks but I'm guessing they're like that because they've been ripped from guitar hero and are not actual master tracks.
Is there also a version without any guitar, also during the solo? A friend and I want to cover this at our schools concert and we need a backing track completely without guitar...
i like how the intro's muted. like i'm actually gonna play a reversed part
It's not hard
@@ItsTime2Burn It's not but it's a harmony so unless you have a loop pedal and learn all the parts rip
@@atlas_rise_ there are also 4 guitar parts being reversed so it's literally impossible to play
@@Samford_ Yeah you can't replicate reversed guitars but you can play the notes and hope for the best

Never thought I'd use master of puppets to warmup. Sheh what a masterpiece.
True story.. this one is way harder for me to play even I downstroke all MOP..
bruh same
except this is not master of puppets...
I use this as a warmup for master lol
5:03 wow that riff is always so swallowed by the solo. Just awesome.
That shit is tight af.
4:02 pure eargasm.
the notes in between are fucking with me
Pllala plalala plalalala
Yea no kidding I’m sweatin!
this makes master of puppets feel like a goddamn picnic
lol, but try covering a live version of MoP. I've tried and I literally can't keep up with them.
This song is way easier than master

I gotta say I haven't struggled to learn a riff in a while but omfg this is fast
4:30 ...
The riff from For Whom The Bell Tolls anyone? ;)
Slightly different it's 0-3-0-2 ;)
This song is pretty straight forward...After you play it 100 times
welcome to satan downpicking lol
the only hard thing to downpick is the main riff but the rest is easy
christian putra you hv to uppick some
Except the solo and the chorus, everything can be downpicked
Actually it's not the E-E-F part that's difficult, its the one lower during the introduction riff that repeated over and over.
If u think this is hard, try playing Elimination - overkill
yes still practising in 2019 but the thing is i wanna know that whats the chord on interlude section just that harmonic 2:36
It's basically two of the notes in the harmonic intro
yay bass!
Top 3 Metallica wrist killers::
3. Blackened
2. Creeping Death
1. Master of Puppets
Also:
Dyers eve
Disposable Heros
and Thru de neva
Honestly green hell and blackened are the hardest imo
@@Bitch6667-q1w Fight fire with fire is also tiresome
Disposable Heroes is #1 unquestionably
Thanks for these vids :) Very educational.

does any one have such backing tracks with just kirk's guitar removed..
I'm looking for that too

But yeah that's true what you said. Kirk didn't start playing rhythm on an album till Load and after.

For me this is easier than master for some reason
It is because you picked so hard you hand nerves died
TH-cam to Mp3 and to Guitar Rig 5
you also made the bass louder?
If this is the real backing track, then the Guitar really drowned the power of the bass
he's bass player
Why it getting faster
Try playing along at 1.25 speed 😳😳
I was gonna say like 1.5 or higher but that’s not possible soooo...

Wow the bass/guitar mix is the exact opposite of the real album
