Great choices! My first deck was Barbara Moore's Tarot Made Easy! I also have the Japanese Poetry deck (which did take forever to come!). It was a gift from my husband cause I lived in Japan and, don't tell him, but I can't click with it, either. I don't like the scrolly border thing for one. Lovely to discover your channel, and thanks for doing this and have a great winter ❄
Don’t you just love a good ole Barbara deck?! Her guidebooks really informed the way I read tarot even now. Oh Tarot of Japanese Poerty 😆🫣🤭 I think that would have made a lovely coffee table book but as a tarot deck…I think I just need more time. At least that’s what I keep telling myself 😂😂. That Miss Cleo deck is iconic, what a treasure! I love that it holds the history of your tarot study too. Goodness, that Over the Garden Wall tarot is so pretty, I've been lusting after it for a while but it's never in stock when I have a wee bit of spare cash to spend! It's perfect for the xmas sweater (I adore the show too, the soundtrack alone is brilliant). That's such a shame about the Japanese Poetry Tarot but I do hope you manage to connect with it more in the new year. I know what you mean about struggling to spend time with the decks you already own when there are new ones regularly coming in. But we love the shiny pretties right? lol. Gotta love a tarot in a tin, they ARE so cute aren't they? I kind of want them all just 'cos they're wee, lol. My Maria Celia got a fair bit of play at some summer garden parties I went to this year. It’s a fabulous deck and the new printing is chef’s kiss perfect! It’s smaller than normal tarot though just so you know. Don’t want you to be shocked when you get it lol. Also the show is on HBO max if you haven’t seen it and wanna watch while you wait for it to come in. Although you totally don’t need to. I used it for months without an issue before I watched. Enjoy and thanks for watching!
