Can I ask something? What are the units you are using?

what is the difference between hidden and dashed?

+Greg Fox Hi Greg, good question! You will notice that the actual patterns look the same, but the line segments are different lengths which means they will always display differently as long as both lines are on the same linetype scale (LTscale). This is useful if you want to show hidden lines in a drawing, but also need a similar pattern to show other features (such as stitch lines).

+METtutorials thanks. BTW, this programs why of working with lines is crazy compared to others (vector works, Microstation, SolidWorks etc). I have always found it very clumsy, form V10 onward...

Try adjusting your linetype scale. Key "LTSCALE" in the command line, and change the number up or down depending on the size of your drawing.
