I have a problem, I'm processing a RAW photo taken from a mirrorless camera in Lightroom on the iPhone 14 Pro. When saving, I choose the JPG format, but the phone saves the JPEG format, which does not suit me. What can you do?
Hi there, JPEG and JPG are the same format. The term “JPEG” stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, which developed the compression algorithm used for this image format. The file extension “.jpg” is commonly used to denote JPEG files. So, whether you see “.jpeg” or “.jpg,” they both refer to the same image format. When exporting photos from Lightroom on your iPhone 14 Pro, you can choose the format you prefer. Here’s how to export your edited RAW photo as a JPG: Open the image you want to export in the Edit view within Lightroom. Tap the Share icon at the top of the screen. In the pop-up menu, select Export as…. In the Export dialog box, choose JPG as the File Type. You can also adjust other settings like Image Quality and Dimensions if needed. Tap Export to save the photo as a JPG. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
I understand, but I want to upload a photo to the gallery, and the only acceptable format is jpg, and my Lightroom jpeg cannot be uploaded to the gallery.
