Tanner!! Get out of town! You are my mentor, my teacher, and you have taught me what I know. I’m seriously speechless right now. Wow! Thanks for the awesome comment.
Beautiful build. That piece of driftwood fits perfectly, and I love how you ran the water feature underneath it. For weeks I've been searching for the perfect driftwood stump for my build, might end up making anartificial one.
Wow that looks beautiful! I've been trying to get some ideas for how to setup a 30 cube exo terra I recently bought and I think your's is one of the best I've seen so far! Great job :)
I am honestly so inspired now and cannot wait to start my paludarium! I have a long 75 gallon tank I plan to house fire bellied toads in. Before watching your video I was hopping from one video to the next just trying to find some inspiration on a good set up but everything just seemed too intimidating (and expensive, especially due to the amount of space I have in the tank :/ ). I am not a very creative person and I don't have the best imagination but your breakdown of the process and creativity have really got me excited to give this a try. Thank you so much for the video!
@@lesliehirsch9324 have you run into any problems with your false bottom? Such as algea growth, etc.? And did you find any solution to any of your problems?
@@sydneydiffin7420 hey! I haven’t had any troubles at all. That being said I do have white cloud minnows and they were getting through the window screen so I cut some of the window screen out when the frogs got bigger. You can see this in my updated video.
I’m working with the exo terra background too and I’m wondering why you added expanding foam over the top of it instead of just applying silicone directly on the exo terra foam. Does it not stick or was this just your preference?
Hey! The filter is a little pump covered by a flat piece of slate. I remove the slate and pull it out. Fairly easy, but I would have made the filter area bigger. Thanks for the comment.
Hello, it is big enough but not tall enough in my opinion. I have seen people keep fire belly’s in lower tanks, but mine like to climb. That being said if you have a shallower water portion it may work. I would use a filter for smaller amounts of water though. Hope that helps! Good luck on your build.
@@lesliehirsch9324 okay yeah I used to have a reptifilter in it when it houses my ornate box turtle so I know it can hold at least the water that's needed to run it... thanks for the information
Randomly came across this. Love to see more FBTs getting an enriching home. Great job!

it's the most beautiful paludarium I have ever seen! Thanks for all that inspiration.
Greetings from Germany.
Danke schoen!
I like it..... I get inspired too with Tanner....
It’s hard not to. I want to keep making more and do different things.
One of the most beautifup builds on yt

@@lesliehirsch9324 gotcha, that's great. I'll check out your updated video.
Turned out amazing! Great video 👍🏼
Fantastic!
Hey! Love the build. Which filter model did you use? I want to create something similar :)
Awesome build! You have to show us how it comes along with the toads in it! :)
Yes. I’m working on an update!! Hopefully soon.
Can you post an update video with the frogs in the tank? I love the different levels you created!
Hi Joy. Finally put one up today. I hope you like it.
I’m working with the exo terra background too and I’m wondering why you added expanding foam over the top of it instead of just applying silicone directly on the exo terra foam. Does it not stick or was this just your preference?
Great question. It was just my preference plus I wanted to carve some detail and put some pots into the background.
Could have filled the whole false botton with either filter mats oder lava rock. BAM! BioFilter.
I literally watched this video.
I’m about to start this project. How much egg crate material did you use?
Quite a bit. I got a big sheet of it in case I made a mistake.
very cool. How do you planning to change the filter without breaking this art piece?
Hey! The filter is a little pump covered by a flat piece of slate. I remove the slate and pull it out. Fairly easy, but I would have made the filter area bigger. Thanks for the comment.
After you get your tank setup how do you clean out your filter
I have a little pump. I pull it out and rinse it off that’s it.
Looks good!! Where did you get that big sheet of egg crate?
Sorry for the late reply. I got it from Home Depot.
No problem, thanks or the response! I needed a cheaper way then 5 tiny sheets for 60 bucks, it is way cheaper at Home Depot. 🙏🏼 thanks again!
@@gagnydiallo4838 you’re welcome 😊
This is amazing. I’m working on a paludarium too. Where did you get the vines, or did you make them yourself?
I bought the vines. Zoo med I think. Next time I’d make them and have them go all the way through the set up.
I have that same terrarium but mine is only 12 inches tall, do you think that's big enough for a few fire belly's?
