Japan needs to utilize their Middle blockers more and become just a little bit less wing-centric. This will free up Ishikawa and Nishida quite a bit especially if they really consistently integrate their middles a lot more.
I hope they get the silver or bronze on this upcpming olympics. Middles should be utilized more not just always giving to the open and opposite and more more combi plays 💕

I do think he will need a couple of years to get at the level of yanagida or fukuzawa (in terms of experience and chemistry with the team, and maybe get used to other top level players). But a strong 4th option for Japan outside hitter. Waiting for that ishikawa-takahashi-nishida combination. Oh and Sekita just running the show of that offense...just imagine that.

JVA(japanese volleyball association)’s webpage to introduce national team players said he is 201cm tall, but TORAY ARROWS(his team on club level)’ webpage says he’s 202cm tall. The latter is more correct. By the way,he is actually 202.4cm tall according to him．(He told us so on instagram)
