Yay👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I did it! I used a bigger hook for the chains and paid more attention to do the sc stitches. I don’t quit I keep going until I get it! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!
Thank you! As soon as I'm done finishing the flag I will show step by step of how to crochet it. I'm over half done, so hopefully I'll be done within the month.
I always wanted to learn how to make this blanket. I’ve made a chain of 48 four times I can’t get it right. I’m always short chains at the end . What am I doing wrong?
Yes, I’m always short about 5-8 chains. I always end up with the point up and not enough to finish the row. I’m thinking using a bigger hook to make the chains bigger or adding more chains so I can finish to the end. Thank you for replying. I’m learning but when I don’t get it I get frustrated. I’m not making it to sell just for family. Thank you again for taking time to reply🙂
@@antoniettacampanaro2876 At the beginning of the 2nd row are you doing your 1set of 3dc on top of the 4th sc from the previous row? You would count the sc that the ch 3 is on top of when you turned the row as the 1st sc. Maybe practice with doing only 24 stitches to begin with.
Hi, I'm trying to make a blanket for a twin bed and I always have more chains I count 24 until I get the size then add 1what can I be doing wrong PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you
For some reason I'm not understanding the valley part. It could be my 75 yr old brain. I kept pausing and repeating that part but still not sure of it. BUT I LOVE THIS STITCH AND YOUR COLORS !!!!!❤😊🧶🌹
You want to chain a multiple of 48 chains until you reach the length that you want the afghan to be. Remember that the hill will make it smaller so you want to do an extra 48 chains. I always lay my chains down & lay it as it would be with the hills & valleys just to see if it's long enough.

Are you adding 1 extra chain after your 48 chains?
Yes I’m short like 5-6@@CherishedMemoriesCrochet

Beautiful pattern the problem is if you doing more than 48 chains where the hill is and where the valley is I got lost
Thank you! I'm sorry you're having trouble. You need to chain a multiple of 48 chains until you reach the length that you want, then chain 1.

@@lynnjaynes3452 Thank you! The valley is where it dips down, the lowest point.
Love this video. Very easy to follow. Do you remember what yarn and colors you used to make the swatch in browns and greens?
Thank you! I used Red Heart Super Savers in Paddy green, Cafe Latte & Buff.
Could anyone show me this blanket finished? I seem to be getting more and more dc clusters.
I'm sorry I don't have a blanket made in this pattern.
Why do I end having 20 DC clusters? Is this supposed to happen?
You should have 4 clusters on each side.
How many chains would I make to do a afghan

If you go to make it water , how many more canes do you need to do on it
To make it wider?
The blanket is beautiful but one thing is wrong you didn’t give us the count of it
Thank you, this is one of my favorites. You must have missed it @the 1:18 marker I tell you to do a multiple of 24 chains.
Thank you
