It is said that love is an all encompassing feeling. Once one encounters pure love, one can feel it resonates through their whole being. That is what we have attempted to portray through our own interpretations of this wonderful composition of Kavi Vyasaraaya. How can one not be enraptured by baby Krishna and His adorable, mischievous antics? When I close my eyes, just for a few seconds, my sight yearns for Him. The sound of His musical anklets is like nectar to my ears. By holding His tiny hands and caressing the beautiful Vyjayanthi mala adorning His body, I experience the divinity of Lord Vishnu. The fragrance of the sandalwood paste anointed on His body fills me with solace. When He ate a tiny fistful of mud and showed His mother the entire universe in the same small mouthful, it isn't so incredulous to believe that the tiny toddler who rules over our hearts is also the one who is the ruler all the seven worlds. All our five senses reach out earnestly to seek and be one with that small child, the One whose small footsteps have forever been imprinted in our hearts.

What a wonderful naivedyam on Gokulashtami / Krishna Jayanti day!🙏 This performance ranks among the very best from SDN. Sri. Srikanth's singing alone is enough to melt one's heart and conjure up kutti Krishna in one's mind. When you add soulful pleading by Sanjena as an intro, heart-tugging and unique abhinayams from the world's best Bharatanatyam dancers, all calling for Krishna's presence & love, heart's longing overflows uncontrollably. Nataraja Pathu makes one shed tears in a somewhat somber/pathos mood; in contrast "Krishna nee begane baro" does it out of abundance of joy, love for Krishna 💖💖💖💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏
What more can one say? Beautiful setting (I think the location has been used before); kutti Krishna's footprints in the opening shot 💖💖💖; Nice close up shots and top class video editing; Guru's encouragement of kool kids' to explore their own creativity and to grow, etc etc 🙏🙏🙏
Last scene in which the 5 gopikas get entranced by Krishna each in a different way was mesmerizing, May jadhodharaka Udupi Krishna bless the dancers.

Loved the Tamil translation at the beginning. Tamil dance recitals these days have English dialogues all over them. Although it is for everyone to understand, the authenticity is lost. I am glad you respected our language by beautifully translating in Tamil and used English subtitles instead even though the song is of another language.

It is a treat to watch the dancer's interpretation of how they call their Krishna - Playful Krishna, Hiding Krishna, Decorated Krishna, Crawling Krishna, Walking Krishna and finally the one who is inside the soul - The Real Krishna...! This proves that dance is a transcendental modality and it has the power to sooth our hearts, especially during depressing times.
