Hoping the new bridge WILL ease the terrible congestion. If you dont live here, please note we have 2 train-mainline level crossings at Oulton Broad: OB South is our County service to Ipswich, OB North is the popular commuter/shopper service into Norfolk, terminating at Norwich. So up to four times an hour the barriers come down...and the Lowestoft traffic absolutely CHOKES. Things are getting better in town though. Town centre is busier, retail outlets further out are thriving, Schools are decent, Parks are beautiful. We are fighting back....and with the Nike Bridge (yes thats what Im calling it) we will surely be able to symbolise some progress.
How's the old bridge doing ??? I remember that pain in the ass always getting stuck haha had to always go the long war round to get home used to work on London road south lived on Denmark road pain in the ass to go through the other way Been living abroad since 2008 so been inter sting catching up on some of the videos posted

From what I can remember traffic used to be a nightmare along London road south going across that bridge ( if it's not stuck up ) and around the train station used to piss me off coming back from work And that darn bridge was a nightmare at times getting stuck . Does that still happen now I would be really interested to know if they actually ever fixed it I'm sure they must have by now hahs
