Noticed after uploading that in my awesome tiredness that i wrote "Deffensive" instead of "Defensive" hope you'll survive that!
Hope Ya'll enjoyed the video!
Looks like you wrote the same word twice then, sir.
Haha even when i'm gonna correct myself i fail! Oh you tired brain!
It makes this word more "deffensive"...
singel?
and Strength not "Strenght" :)
Thanks for the video! Helped me get back into the spec very quickly
Glad it helped!
On the vers/mastery position on stats there pretty close in the initial gearing so far, I agree with you that vers is higher priority, and mastery is a great stat, but I've noticed the trade off of exceeding 40% Mastery at the cost of vers. I like the video and thank you for taking the time.
Do you have a video with what add-ons you’re using in the video, or could you share which ones your using? Thanks!
Don't have a video for it sadly!
It's mostly Elvui + weakauras and addonSkins, combined with addons like bigwigs, details, NamePlateSCT and NamePlate Auras.
Hit me up on Facebook and i can sed you the list and my elvui profile!
Recently got into dk tanking and the guide helped, but I had a question about if you had any helpful addons for tanking or what you used to assist you.
Mostly i try to have a clean UI so i can see as much as possible, everything has it's place etc but other then that it's mainly weakauras that i use to track things.
an addon called Nameplate Auras is really good aswell, helps you see certaint debuffs like stuns alot easier on targets.
Ty
good guide, liked it alot
Ye the video was good but some information in this video were wrong or he didn't go into detail enough. The Guide itself isn't that good
Really good guide! Waiting for the other 2 specs :D Thanks man!
Thanks m8! Will be dropping specc guides from time to time! will probably be for diffrent tank speccs the comming 1-2 guides but DPS speccs will be posted aswell!
The guide itself is actually not that good. He gives people wrong information and that is not what a guide is about.
Otherwise i have to say that the video itself is very good
Very informative video. I've played Blood DK since their release and I've learned a few things. Clicking on this video I was hoping for some racial overviews as well. Ive been a Tauren for the stomp since WotLK but would a B.Elf be better in this xpac for the arcane torrent?
Thanks m8!
I'd have to go ahead and say yes to the belf part, there's sooo much use for aoe purge in the new dungeons!
Also arcane torrent gives you 20 runic power for those clutch combat rezzes
Great video! What do you consider to be the best Blood DK race for the horde?
That depends really, i love Goblines due to the 1% haste bonus and rocket jump. Blood elfs new arcane torrent is really really handy in Dungeons.
Undead sims the highest dmgwise right now, but by a small small %.
But for me it's either Goblin or Blood elf!
@@StankieGaming I was thinking goblin but what about tauren high hp and aoe stun?
Do you use Death's Caress? Seems like a good lead off spell in the rotation
Yea i use it alot for pulling a mob or extra mobs, but other then that not so much!
great tip tho!
At 1:40 what is that ability that makes you go hella fast? That'd be nice to know as a slow DK
It's a speed potion! Lightfoot Potion!
will you be doing m+ guides for tanks?
I plan to yes! currently spamming away in mythic+!
I'm very new to blood dk's i've mained tanks since mmo's came about but it really confuses me, I just dont get the massive heals i see here on youtube what am i doing wrong?
Well the heals are based on DMG taken, the more dmg you take in a short time the bigger your deathstrike heals get.
When you tank trash packs or big packs atleast it's a combination of deathstrike and things like bloodplague and bonestorm.
you can always get an addon or a weakaura to track how big your next deathstrike heal will be, makes it easier to get off the big heals!
Could you make a video about your UI? It looks amazing and so clean.
I can prob make one, most of the UI is based of Naowhs UI that i've tweaked a bit!
What is Naowhs UI? I cannot find it on curse.
Yes would really appreciate this! Love your weak aura/UI setup!!
What are u talking about mythic drops az gear so y wouldnt m+
Mythic+ doesn't, it only drops in the weekly chest from mythic+!
How much versatility do you have?
318 atm, RNG has not been my best friend on that part yet!
Don't care about that, Versa is not ur 3rd priority. It is Mastery. So
Strength
Haste
Mastery
Versa = Crit
Sorry Man u started missing what was going on with Blood DK with BfA it seems?
Versa is not our 3rd Stat Priority anymore, it is mastery now.
Also you are playing with Heartbreaker in Fortified weeks in harder keys, otherwise u always go blooddrinker but having heartbreaker in fortified weeks in harder keys is just so amazing, u see every blood dk running with this later on. Also Naowh and Naxx are using it.
What i don't understand is why everyone mentions Rapid Decomposition, but no one uses it. Maybe because it is shit? Because it actually is, the dmg output from hemostasis is nearly the same but hemostasis provides u with a survivability boost that makes hemostasis the better talent overall
Interesting, any sims i've made or info i've found has put vers above mastery for both DPS and survival due to it affecting both DMG taken and increases healing/dmg whereas mastery only increases our bloodshield and atk power, and well blood shield ain't all that great.
But if i am wrong in that i'd love to hear why, genuinely!
Yea i probably should have mentioned heartbreaker for heavy aoe, yes it's very very good for that, but for overall content blooddrinker wins!
Rapid decomp works great if you run with bonestorm seeing as alot of RP isn't spent death striking and helps us out when/if we kite trash packs. This means more dmg/healing during kite windows which also has the added bonus of helping out with threat.
But yes for most cases Hemostasis wins, just wanted to throw in some info about it!
Thanks for the input tho m8 always interesting to read other peoples thoughts!
Going to explain why tomorrow, but for now i can just say that both Naxx and Naowh say that mastery is better. Also a german streamer named "Kaytlien" will tell u that.
Just because you say mastery is now better it doesnt mean that its true. Link/quote some guides that say so.
The heartbreaker part i can agree with, it does really well in forti/trash heavy dungseons. Also, i wouldnt take rapid decomp either, maybe, just maybe its worth a try on forti weeks.
Versi is just good because it reduce magic dmg too and i also think its the stat to go with haste.
But what i dont understand is Blooddrinker, its weak and it dosnt heal alot and it cost a rune.
Hey man, i main blood dk since pandas came around and i only play that class. i raided mythic in legion so id say i know what im talking about.
The heartbreaker skill is so much better than blooddrinker imo. it is so rare in general gameplay that i would even use blooddrinker cause of anything going on. And even on one target, heartbreaker gives me more RP for my runes. so essentially its a Tempo boost.
im only using the heartbreaker on every content Except for specific raid encounters. just wanted to let you all know. i wish you fellow blood dks all of the best loot, so we dominate rankings. bye :)
Yo! Can't say that i agree 100% but each to his own, and what ever works works.
For cleave and Aoe i agree that heart breaker is really really good, but for pure singel target it's just way to little extra RP compared to what you get out of BD, but non of those talents are gonna make or break anything and as i said, whatever works works!
The problem with this video is you're really not using visuals at all other than few keywords on the top left. Its quite hard to imagine what you're talking about.
Thanks for the input i'll try and keep that in mind for future guides!
First.
