I really like watching this because a lot of people who open pokémon packs already know what each card is so they blitz through it as fast as possible and I like the fact that he pauses on each one because I don't know most of these cards
the rarities are: ex: 1/6 illustration rare (the art cards) 1/12 full art (the ex with colourful backgrounds) 1/16 Special illustration rare (art cards of ex's or trainers, the poppy was one) ranged between 1/30 and 1/90 and golds (literally just gold cards) ranged between 1/40 - 1/140
Would love to see you get with a Pokémon content creator after a couple more boxes and put some decks together and play! I know nothing about Pokémon TCG but if I’m gonna learn, you would be a most enjoyable person to learn alongside!
This is how it starts... I started last year at TwitchCon Europe with a Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box. Been collecting and building a deck since then.
Crazy! I also just got back into Pokemon TCG. Even crazier, i was going through some old boxes thanksgiving morning, from my highschool years, and found 11 packs of Neo Genesis unopened! Me and my two sons each opened 1 pack after dinner and pulled holo togatics, meganium, and the good Typhlosion worth like $7k!
flats leave while you can, i started 3 weeks with this tcg and already spend 2k already. stop while you can it is not too late for you (it might be idk)
be careful flats. Pokemon is a very dangerous rabbit hole to go down. Especially if you get into vintage where the boxes climb into mid to high hundreds on the low end and thousands on the high. not to mention singles worth the same.
the start of a great addiction, hopeful to see him really get into this
"Even though these weren't worth a whole lot of money, they were some nice looking card pulls." That's the right attitude right here.
chat i think he’s too far gone the addiction has spilled into reality
Love Flat’s joy when he rips a cool looking card

It's so refreshing seeing someone get all/most of the names right.thanks flats
IT'S NOT A MISTAKE, IT'S AN HAPPY ACCIDENT YOU GETTING INTO POKEMON CARDS
Dawg who said Lobotomy stick when he found the metal rod 😭
And so the addiction begins. It started for me like this too, buying only a couple of packs, before slowly growing addicted to pokemon more and more.
Flats found the ultra rare metal rod
It probably won't happen but I would KILL to see Flats Nuzlocke Scarlet/Violet esp after his Gen 7 randomized run
Flats is a pokemon cards channel now awesome.
I recently started opening packs and have to admit it’s really fun. Even with bad pulls, just the suspense alone is fun.

The patience you have to not open all of them in one day is god tier
